Education: University degree (Higher education in economics, finance)
Background & Experience:
- Experience in management of a team
- Survey/Research skills (including data processing and analysis skills). Nice to have: Advertising, Marketing, Product Development/Planning or Brand Strategy experience
- Proficiency utilizing (but not conducting) advanced statistical techniques (regression, driver analysis, and modelling)
- Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proficiency in statistical software or crosstabulation softwares (SPPS, SAS, MTabWeb etc) is a plus
- Good synthesis capacity
- Expertise in using data to tell stories, which the business can use to continuously improve
- Business/Marketing/Economics/Sociology scholarship (Master’s Degree)
- English must be fluent (!!!!)
Job description:
- Manage Nissan Russia Market Intelligence team, reporting to Nissan Europe Market Intelligence
- Conduct all research related to Nissan, Datsun and Infiniti brands in the East region (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakstan...) incl. managing local vendors to guarantee quality, cost and timing standards
- Liaise with Nissan Europe MI team to ensure that the Russian consumer perspective is adequately included in market research studies
- Conduct ad hoc customer surveys (quantitative and qualitative) assigned by management following corporate guidelines, reporting research findings to internal clients and executives. Examples of such projects include:
- Upstream product research
- Car Clinics, where future models are quantitatively compared to their competitive set
- Positioning research for new model launches to identify a consumer-focused marketing plan
- loyalty, financing needs, dealer surveys or motorshow research.
- Brand tracking study for Nissan, Datsun and Infiniti
- Advertising tests
- Conduct New Buyer Questionnaire Research
- These projects will likely have a Russia focus, but may occasionally have a European focus
- Support Nissan Europe MI team in syndicated studies in Russia
- Manage/support Nissan Europe MI team on volume validation process, using advanced statistical techniques
- Ensure that that Russian consumer needs are represented in key product programs and marketing programs.
- Assist with development of customer trends, ensuring that Russia consumers are fully comprehended
- Manage the Market Intelligence budget, including planning, sourcing, invoicing, forecasting and reporting
- Communicate proactively with internal constituents including other Market Intelligence department globally, Corporate Planning, Advanced Planning, Loyalty, Customer Quality, Dealer Development, Aftersales, Marketing Operations, Brand, Communication, Nissan Europe, Nissan Global, Renault-Nissan Alliance
- Communicate proactively with external constituents including advertising agency, media agency and research firms
