Key accountabilities
Job holder is accountable towards Solutions Europe BEC Lead for the delivery of BEC (Business Expertize Center) and template services within the Zone for critical IT Commercial solutions. Focus of the role is on Western Europe markets.
- Incident/Service Request daily delivery and resolution meeting the SLA
- Change Request management: govern on the solutions for Continuous Improvement (review/sign-off) which are delivered 3rd party providers
- Change Request delivery of the customizing changes and prepare the functional specifications for the developers if custom solution/adjustment is required
- Regular interaction with Europe Commercial function leadership and key / end users to understand priorities, report progress, train, communicate and run change management for zone IT Commercial solutions
- Update Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) as per business request or after change in any of IT solution in the area of responsibility
- Liaise with Solutions Demand and Delivery teams to support projects on-going or planned for the Zone/BU/Country
- Help in coordination and control different IT solutions support with 3rd party providers
- Coordinate the key users/end users during the Regression testing for the area of responsibility
- Propose the solutions/innovations for further improvements towards IT Leadership
Business Routines
End-responsible for the following processes:
- First line end/key user support, training
- Incident/Service Request/Change management, report transparently the work is done
- Vendor interaction, review documentation and challenging as part of change management process and Zone solution template governance for critical ERP platforms (SAP CRM, GTS, ERP) and integrated commercial systems (EDI, Salesforce.com, other order taking and SFA solutions)
- Regression testing for Commercial area as part or regular release cycle
- Translating business process change in impact on template solutions
- Proposes the improvements for the existing routines/reporting within BEC / area of responsibility
Partners with:
- Demand managers to execute change/change management process and manage IT template solutions through reviews of the designs/FDs provided by 3rd party vendors
- Solutions Delivery teams to support IT projects and gain knowledge and support P2BAU (Project to Business as Usual) transition
- Europe function leadership and key / end users to understand priorities, report progress, train, communicate and run change management for zone IT template solutions
Qualifications and Technical competencies required
Education
- University degree level or equal by experience on Information Technology
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Information Technology Operations or 2+ years participation in Corporate IT Projects or participation in 2 or more Commercial (SFA, CRM, Sales analytics) Information Systems implementation projects
- Experience in communicating with business users/leadership
- Experience in working in a multi-national environment
- Experience working with teams spread across different geographies will be a plus
Technical competencies
- Good knowledge and understanding of Project and Service management processes
- Knowledge of ITIL standards and methods will be a plus
- Strong Expertize in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and SAP LE (Logistics Execution) customizing and setup is required
- Experience in SAP GTS (Global Transportation Services)/Integration with Customs will be a plus
- Experience in SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) implementation or support will be a plus
- Experience in Salesforce.com solutions implementation/integration with SAP/support will be a plus
- Experience in IT solutions design and roll outs
- Proficient in English (any other European language will be a plus)
