Our Java team is growing, and we are looking for talented software engineers who enjoy working on complex projects and learning new things every day.
We are developing NetStar, which is a professional tool for designing complex WDM networks. It assists telecom operators in WDM network planning, design, simulation and analysis. WDM is the highway in the Digital World and Huawei is a leading WDM supplier, with more than 33% market share globally.
What you’ll be doing?
- Design and develop scalable, re-usable and high-quality source code
- Participate in planning, implementation, testing and release activities
- Share and apply knowledge and best practices in a multinational team
- Learn all the time. The company encourages attending international conferences, and expects employees to stay on the cutting edge of technology.
What we expect from you?
Required:
- Degree in a computer science related discipline 2+ years of relevant industry software development experience
- Strong knowledge of Java, data structures, programming concepts and design patterns, relational databases
- Extensive experience with unit and integration testing methods
- Experience of working in Linux environment
- Conversationally fluent English. A language certificate is not required, but ability to communicate with English-speaking colleagues is a must.
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of algorithms
- Telecommunication experience or education
- Knowledge of modern programming approaches (microservices, message buses)
- Experience of working in large multinational technology companies
