Solutions Architect
The Role
- Collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales and Cloud Engineering teams to help customers learn, adopt and use Cloud services combined with cutting edge open source tools such as Terraform.
- Deliver on-site technical engagements with customers across the globe.
This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, providing architecture diagrams, building PoCs, guiding, overseeing and mentoring Cloud Engineers & Data Engineers.
- Share real world implementation challenges and recommend approaches that would simplify Cloud adoption and provide greater business value.
- Be a thought leader in Cloud Native adoption, present at Meetups & Conferences.
Qualification & Experience
- 5 years of experience designing, architecting and deploying production grade, Cloud based solutions on one of the following public cloud providers: AWS, Google or Azure.
- 2 or more years in a customer facing consulting role, with experience working onsite with customers developers and architecture teams with ability to navigate in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with automation and configuration management e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Experience with compliance & regulatory requirements such as: HIPAA, SOC2, PCI-DSS
- Proficiency in at least one popular programming language, such as: Java, Python or Go.
- Proficient at writing automation scripts (Bash, Python).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced level of English
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
