Svyaznoy hires for the position of Head of Business Development and Partnerships.

Svyaznoy Ecommerce team is looking for an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric, inspirational Senior Business Development leader to generate, negotiate and execute strategic alliances with the leading companies globally to accelerate Svyaznoy business growth. The role reports to SVP Ecommerce.
We are a customer-obsessed, fast-paced team that encourages innovation and end-to-end ownership. The ideal candidate will be tremendous customer-focused, forward-looking thinker, first class negotiator and problem solver. This position will leverage your deep understanding of ecommerce, retail and high-tech industries, strong technical aptitude to identify best in class partnerships, to structure the deals that are unconventional in nature, and to execute them on the highest bar to drive exponential business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
? Design Svyaznoy strategy for entering into strategic partnerships and alliances targeted to deliver Svyaznoy brand promise, grow store distribution and customer base;
? Identify partnership opportunities with leading companies including digital/ecommerce companies, media, services and other large-scale consumer businesses;
? Engage our target partner companies by articulating Svyaznoy’s vision and value proposition to customers and partners. Be a central point of contact for all strategic partnerships for Svyaznoy;
? Structure the deals aligned with the interests of customers and partners;
? Drive all aspects of both external and internal negotiations to a successful close; Lead cross-functional teams to manage initiatives associated with the deals. Assist in building cross-Product CX;
? Evaluate the economic and strategic cost-benefit of partnerships. Monitor the performance of existing deals;
? Develop and manage senior-level relations with Svyaznoy’s partner companies. Own account management activities on a regular basis to create additional opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
? 7+ years of applicable experience in strategic business development, product management, investment banking, or venture investing in relevant industries such as high-tech and internet;
? End-to-end deal experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships such as large-scale marketing deals, technical collaborations, complex digital media transactions, and strategic technology relationships;
? Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics. Ability to recommend and manage strategic investment decisions and to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions;
? Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences, influence others internally and externally;
? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gain respect of senior management and external executives. Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships, which facilitate the deal flow;
? Superior verbal and written communications skills. Proficient English speaker.
Preferred Qualifications
? MBA is a plus;
? Thought leader with a solid understanding of multiple industries and their intersection with commerce; ? High level of independence and flexibility. Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, define the best practices for the function and roll up sleeves to have the things done;
? Passion for big challenges and a good sense of humor.
