Partner Account Manager

Assigned to a particular territory or a specific partner, our teams are dedicated to driving sales of Dell products, systems and services. The focus is on getting the very best from a host of indirect sales channels. From value-added resellers to distributors and retailers, it’s about finding what works and constantly exploring ways to make it work even better. These relationships can change everything.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages existing channel partners. Works with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities. Identifies and qualifies new channel partners. Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities.
- Develops, motivates and coordinates Dell Technologies sales team and Channel sales team to optimize sales execution. Skillfully negotiates with others to achieve desired results and meet customer needs.
- Identifies appropriate products and services to meet the full range of the channel’s needs. Identifies cost effective and practical alternatives for the customer by bundling products/service “solutions” to maximize Dell Technologies opportunity while meeting customer’s needs.
- Identifies opportunities for Channel Partners to fill a geographic or vertical coverage gap.
Essential Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience.
- Requires relevant channel sales experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and leadership team.
- Fluent English
