Role Description:
Sanofi CHC is at a pivotal point in its eCommerce journey, and we seek an eCommerce Development Manager to build and shape our platform for growth in the Russia market. The Sanofi CHC Russia eCommerce Development Manager will serve as the driving force for eCommerce activity in market, championing and activating Sanofi CHC’s eCommerce strategy.
Reporting through to the Customer Development Lead, the eCommerce Development Manager will own eCommerce market strategy development, relationship management of eCommerce partner(s), activation steps to drive eCommerce sales growth, and cross-functional coordination to accelerate eCommerce activity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced eCommerce account manager to take ownership of the delivery of eCommerce growth in Russia. The successful applicant to this business-critical role will define and implement a comprehensive e Commerce plan to meet and exceed market growth targets. We are looking for someone who is passionate about eCommerce with a desire to drive rapid and sustained growth through this evolving channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply eCommerce framework, working with the global eCommerce team, to define the market’s eCommerce strategy
- Establish market-level financial, operational, customer, and consumer goals/targets
- Provide input to market-level strategic roadmap (sales & budget forecasting)
- Develop market-level eCommerce roadmap to define core milestones
- Understand competitive and regulatory landscape with cross-functional support
- Establish and manage relationships with existing and new-to-Sanofi e-retailers
- Negotiate customer terms & fees for new e-retailers
- Conduct day-to-day account management and activation of Sanofi CHC’s portfolio with e-retailers in market
- Continually seek opportunities to improve customer terms and grow business
- Serve as in-market leader to drive awareness of and adherence to eCommerce best practices with omnichannel key account managers
- Confirm assortment strategy with global eCommerce and category teams
- Collaborate with Marketing & Shopper teams to ensure product and user-generated content clearly communicates a compelling offer, and implement effective eCommerce promotions
- Drive retailer media in coordination with the digital marketing and brand teams.
- Work closely with Digital Marketing teams to develop a coordinated approach to engage with shoppers and consumers at the right touchpoints during their path to purchase to drive conversion through eCommerce
- Coordinate with supply chain stakeholders to address eCommerce packaging and fulfilment considerations, as required
- Collaborate cross-functionally to establish data and insight collection mechanisms, and continuously track, analyse, and communicate defined KPIs to improve eCommerce performance
- Serve as market representative / point of contact for eCommerce to regional activators and global teams
Desired Experience
- Proven e-retailer account management experience (2+ years), preferably within an FMCG environment
- Demonstrated e-retailer -specific experience, including Marketing Services & Media Group or Marketing & promotional tools for e-retailer platforms
- Prior data strategy and analytical experience, including expertise in structuring data collection to (1) better understand the shopper path to purchase and (2) inform activation strategies across the organization (e.g., marketing strategy, product innovation decisions)
- Strong analytical capabilities, and passion for extracting rich insights from data
- Detailed knowledge and expertise regarding eCommerce and online consumer touchpoints from generating demand to sales conversion
- Familiarity working with external parties and agencies, including budget management
- Experience in content management systems, using web analytics and other tools to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks with a diverse range of priorities and problems
- Career-minded individual with the drive to succeed, and a demonstrated professional development and progression thus far
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum qualifications of a Bachelor's degree
- 2 + years working knowledge and experience of eCommerce platforms and online marketing channels
