Missions:
Develop AL business by:
- Opportunity management in the framework of a Marketing & Sales Plan.
- Creation of new technical - commercial offers based on AL global experience and/or customer requests.
- Protect AL customer base against technological and competitor threats
Assignment to a specific markets/applications as well geographical territory and close interaction and coordination with Sales Representatives of this area.
Duties:
- Ensures Market visibility.
- Conducts specific market studies in the assigned markets (e.g. Metallurgy).
- Leads prospection initiatives to detect new opportunities.
- Directly contributes to select prospection list to increase sales opportunity portfolio in ME market.
- Manages new opportunity detection and qualification.
- Promotes selected AL solutions to potential and existing customers.
- Plans and Organizes with and without Sales Representatives visits according objectives.
- Proposes AL technical solutions to selected customers in order to solve their technical hurdles or develop new technical solutions.
- Cooperates with local and ALTEC experts for specific markets.
- Proposes and manages audits and/or tests of AL solutions at customer's facilities.
- Leads the opportunity development in collaboration with sales teams (for focused markets).
- Builds AL offer according budgetary constraints, HSE policy and local rules.
- Defines with sales team relevant gas price, considering local market price and value added brought to customer.
- Organizes contract reviews and contract signature negotiations with support of sales team.
- Defends AL customer base against competition (gas and non-gas).
- Identifies competitors’ threats.
- Propose action plan how to limit identified threats and keep strong position at the market.
- Ensures miscellaneous tasks to support sales force.
- Supports marketing activities by organizing and attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
- Acts as a mentor to Sales team to perform trainings, share knowledge and best practices.
Competencies / Skills:
- High technical education.
- Preferable education and production experience in Metallurgy Ferrous & Non-Ferrous /Glass production/Heat treatment/Chemistry/Water treatment /Combustion processes.
- Industrial experience / B2B sales experience.
- Profound knowledge or working experience in one or several areas: Ferrous/Non-Ferrous Metallurgy, Glass, Cement, Mineral Wool, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Water treatment, Pulp & paper etc.
- Project Management process basic understanding.
- Good command in English (both written and verbal).
- Good at negotiations and convincing people.
- 3 years of work experience.
