Review and comment on all applicable codes and standards, examination of the vendor list and assist with cost estimation.

Prepare General specifications and material requisitions for the supplies of Plant Control and Safety Systems

Prepare Technical Bid Evaluation & Tabulation

Participate during the Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design phases of EPCM projects
-
Support other disciplines for the definition of the Automation requirements of specific supplies (e.g. packages, machines etc.)
-
Review and resolve interdisciplinary design and technical issues to ensure the most effective and efficient design is selected
-
Ability to handle multiple projects at once and be adaptive to change
-
Keep up to date with the latest technical specific improvements of the discipline and transfer that knowledge to the other Specialists and Engineers

Be an integral part of the detailed design of project Automation deliverables ensuring compliance with industry/client codes, work processes, and standards.

Verification of vendor's drawings and documents

Attend to the Factory Acceptance Test (FATs) of the Automation Control and Protection Systems
-
Provide field construction support attending to the Automation Systems installation and power-on and leading to Site Acceptance Test (SAT) sign off
-
Bachelor/Masters degree in Engineering with minimum 10-year experience in Automation engineering design for Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry

Strong knowledge and experience in the design of Control and Protection Systems

Base knowledge and experience with design of instrumentation is preferred

Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, with a deep focus on standard and laws applicable to Russian Federation
-
Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology aligning, planning and execution activities across the project life-cycle, from project setup to startup
-
Availability to travel to site for field walks, client meetings, etc
-
Good communication and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to cope with conflicting deadlines, frequent interruptions and multiple tasks
