The position is open at IMP Logistics division of PRA Health Sciences.
Position overview:
The purpose of this position is to assume overall responsibility for coordination of import/export operations with respect to all types of products in accordance with SOPs, Work Instructions, corporate policies and official regulatory requirements.
The holder of this position is expected to notify functional manager about issues (related to import / export coordination and customs clearance of shipments) and participate in development of problem-resolving action plans.
The holder of this position can be responsible for coordination of import / export activities in several countries.
As Logistics QC Manager you will:
- Ensure that a quality management system is implemented and maintained;
- Focus on the management of authorized activities and the accuracy and quality of records;
- Ensure that initial and continuous training programs are implemented and maintained;
- Coordinate and promptly perform any recall operations for medicinal products;
- Ensure that relevant customer complaints and identified deviations are dealt with effectively and in accordance with Company policies and procedures;
- Ensure that suppliers and customers are approved;
- Approve any subcontracted activities which may impact on GDP;
- Ensure that self-inspections are performed at appropriate regular intervals following a prearranged program and necessary corrective measures are put in place;
- Keep appropriate records of any delegated duties;
- Decide on the final disposition of returned, rejected, recalled or falsified products;
- Approve any returns to saleable stock;
- Ensure that any additional requirements imposed on certain products by national law are adhered to
- Ensure that the QMS conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015;
- Ensure that the processes are delivering their intended outputs;
- Reporting on the performance of the QMS and on opportunities for improvement, in particular to Senior management;
- Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the IMP Logistics;
- Ensure that the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to the QMS are planned and implemented.
- Provide guidance, with Corporate Vendor Selection and Management procedure, when selecting and managing vendors at functional level;
- Work with QA to ensure that vendors are qualified appropriately;
- Classify and approve vendors;
- Maintain a list of vendors in the service area.
- Review Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for products, approve product storage, handling and level of returns reconciliation. Review products for compliance with relevant legislation. Ensure additional requirements imposed on certain products by national law are adhered to;
- Identify quality incidents and applies in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation to resolve the issue. Ensures necessary corrective measures are put in place;
- Accountable for handling of MPP, handles client or state authorities initiated recalls of MPP and/or IMP, checks state authority information resources, coordinates recall process, initiates a mock recall. Reports to state authorities if any recalled, falsified, counterfeited or suspected falsified MPP identified in supply chain;
- Lead maintenance of documentation required by state authorities;
- Accountable for inbound shipments release process;
- Manage additional labelling process in accordance with company procedure;
- Manage appropriate cleaning, sanitation, pest control, etc. activities in pharmaceutical warehouse;
- Verify temperature/humidity data of products and perform product impact assessment according to effective company procedure;
- Maintain metrics and analysis of data to assess performance and implement improvements;
- Lead and direct quality control team members. Manages, coaches, and evaluates QC team. Allocates and manages resources according to changing needs;
- Assure good conditions of Special Security Substances (SSS) stored at the warehouse;
- Release incoming shipments with SSS;
- Participate in inventory count of SSS;
- Perform other duties in accordance with local legislation and company procedures and needs.

- Master`s degree in pharmacy (MUST)+ valid certificate
- 5 years of relevant experience (in the same area)

- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
