We are looking for Scientific & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) Eastern Europe Manager
SRA team provides direct support to the Markets and Regions in order to ensure JTI's product portfolio competitiveness, compliance, and sustainable business continuity for conventional and reduced risk products. Leads the management of regional SRA projects and challenges to stay on top of product regulatory developments and business priorities in the region as well as scientific know how and projects progress.
This is a unique and incredible opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and results-oriented professional to join the JTI SRA Team, take a new challenge and contribute to the successful growth and development of a leading International corporation.
You will work with:
- Product Regulations. Support the Regional SRA Director in monitoring, interpretation and communication to relevant stakeholders of all product regulatory requirements development (for both markets and factories) and provide advice on business solutions.
- Representing JTI in product regulatory meetings with authorities, standardization bodies and relevant industry / trade associations.
- Ensuring compliance on market level.
- lead and coordinate the global activities and programs in order to ensure compliance.
- Support the Regional SRA Director when it comes to ensuring and managing regular product compliance requirements (for products and manufacturing).
- Collaborating within the Eastern Europe region
- Develop network, processes and effective cross-functional communication.
- Participate in relevant regional meetings, provide scientific expertise and knowledge and deliver regular SRA updates on product regulations, scientific developments and projects progress.
- Support the Regional SRA Director in providing strategic guidance on scientific & regulatory issues/future developments into regional planning.
You will be successful in this role if you:
- Have University degree, preferable in chemistry, biochemistry, toxicology or related sciences, an additional degree in business management would be a plus.
- Have at least 3 years in a managerial position in multinational company from highly regulated industry, preferably tobacco or pharmaceutical; food or cosmetics.
- Have good knowledge and understanding of global regulatory trends and regulatory bodies for tobacco / consumer products.
- Have working experience with
- cross functional, multi-disciplinary projects management.
- analyzing regulation’s business impact and addressing scientific regulatory issues.
- product development, material assessment, testing, quality assurance & control, performance measurements and reporting.
- Are fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language being a plus.
- Have excellent inter-personal and networking skills, strong verbal and written communication, very good multi-cultural sensitivity, good negotiation skills.
- Detailed-oriented and have excellent analytical skills
- Are ready for frequent business trips.
