Reporting to the CEO of Russia, the Business Development and Sales Director will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and ensuring the retention of existing contracts.
You will also be responsible for building a new growth mindset within Sodexo Russia teams, leading change and empowering people.
Working as the key driver of new opportunities, your networking, business development, relationship building, and closing skills will demonstrate and promote Sodexo culture, values and management philosophy.
Your leadership and contribution to the proposal writing team will ensure the growth in volume and profitability in your segments. Working towards targets, you are naturally motivated to achieve and exceed your targets. You are a hunter by nature; you will find opportunities…you are resilient. Responsibilities:

Construction of a detailed development strategy
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify key areas of growth potential, including identification, prospect qualification, organization survey, proposal development, proposal delivery and contract negotiation..
- Develop and manage a structured pipeline of new business potential using Sodexo’s sales qualification processes.

Development of a long-lasting Web of influence across the sector
- Track the web of influence at all levels of our clients’ and partners’ organizations and participate in keeping it alive.
- Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship resulting in highest levels of client, partners and customer satisfaction and account retention, and future business growth plans.
- Promote a client-focused culture that strives to exceed client needs, requirements, and satisfaction expectations.
- Leverage all clients’, partners’ and providers’ relationships to develop new business opportunities.

Ownership of all on-going Tender processes in new development or retention
- Deliver on defined sales targets for Quality of Life Services (food and facilities management services) to ensure that Sodexo enjoys targeted aggressive and profitable growth.
- Lead the sales process for each opportunity, from Opportunity sourcing to Bid management, Client negotiation, Contract closure and Operational follow-up.
- In partnership with operations, lead all new business development and retention proposals and liaise with Finance, Legal, Marketing, Human Resources and Subject Matter Experts throughout the solution development process, in compliance with the Right Clients/Right Terms and Ethical approach to selling.
- Provide direction on implementation and delivery of sales needs and create a competitive advantage through the design, development and recommendation of sales and marketing programs.

Participation to Global development strategy of the segment
- Maintain awareness of industry, competition and market conditions through monitoring of market and industry trends, competitor strategies, and help orienting Sodexo's strategy toward addressing those trends.
- Participate in designing, implementing and executing strategies and innovative solutions that result in the achievement of sales, market share, or market growth targets.
- Contribute to a strategic client retention and/or development plan that retains existing clients and grows Sodexo’s turnover and profitability from these clients.
- Partner with internal representatives to develop and implement business strategies, new or improved offers, alternate contract models to better meet client needs and business objectives.
Candidate's profile: - Based in a Moscow
- English is a must
- Relevant Business Development experience with a range of large clients and complex contracts within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sustainable growth and profit while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of the regional Oil & Gas business, markets and people.
- Demonstrated understanding of the bid management life cycles.
- Proven track record of delivering Business Development, growth and client retention.
- Excellent Project management and Bid management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Willing to travel.
