Marketing Manager Russia & CIS (Electrophysiology)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Develops, implement a strategic road map for market development and growth in alignment with the electrophysiology (EP) strategic business plan. The marketing manager develops and execute an electrophysiology marketing plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build in alignment with strategic business plan R&CIS a marketing strategy, approve with divisional leadership and implement through tactical marketing plans for his/her assigned product lines through collaboration and influence matrix organization.
- Initiate, Develop & Implement marketing processes.
- Optimize portfolio mix to secure and maximize profitability, Market Share and growth targets.
- Building and developing best in class regional marketing team strongly supporting Sales leaders across the region and providing strong, innovative and comprehensive daily support to customers, including HCPs, KOLs, Hospitals and Business partners.
- Executing and implementing EP key strategic objectives, including protecting and building leadership positions across markets.
- Leading launch of New products across Russia and CIS.
- EP Therapy development in region. Reference will be therapy penetration in Czech or WE.
- Contribute and maximize ABT profitability (in accordance with set objectives)
- Driving double digit Top line Growth R&CIS EP and secure sustainable profitability targets.
- Innovations drive: ownership of the EP patient journey – Develop Referral networks/Pathways towards SVT, VT and AF procedures including latest mapping technologies. Electro Physiologists, Heart Failure cardiologists, round table set up, Cross-regional collaboration.
- Key messaging & marketing materials localization based on the region need. Leveraging Clinical data access across the territory.
- Best practice sharing and implementation across R&CIS and EM / EMEA
- In alignment with Business development plan ensure marketing action plan execution.
- Lead regional EP society trade show strategy for assigned product including symposium, focus and customer meetings to execute our marketing strategies.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
COMPETENCIES
- 4-year university degree; MBA preferred or comparable.
- 3 or more years with progressively responsible marketing experience in the medical device industry within a complex matrix environment.
- A comprehensive understanding of EP/Cardiac rhythm management technology, heart failure therapies within medical device industry.
- Strong leadership & presentations skills; Ability to present and collaborate EM/EMEA team.
- Team leadership and development skills in a matrix organization and external environment.
- Documented record of delivering projects and activities which adds value to management's decision-making process.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, physicians, hospital administrators, government agencies, medical groups, and other sales representatives.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication, negotiation, sales, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong complex project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
