Duties and responsibilities:
- Contribute to the definition and achievement of country objectives in terms of financial targets (MP, MPACC, Market Share, Prices, Gross Profit, Sales development and Forecast accuracy) for seeds business. Translate country business objectives into sales and market development plans reflecting the country seeds strategy. Supervise & monitor its implementation taking the necessary corrective actions.
- Responsibility with marketing for the development of seed specific MAS offer and ensure its implementation.
- Definition of commercial policies within the framework defined in the go-to-market approach guaranteeing proper implementation.
- Responsibility for operative management of seeds business: e.g. sales targets achievement, support market actions. Monitor the achievements, identify deviations, implement corrective actions
- Guarantee the effective and prompt handling of customer complaints.
- Ensure the contribution to the operational company processes (sales FC, sales budget, S&OP, price monitoring & tactical pricing) ensuring adequate functioning of business supporting activities
- Active participation in country meetings (RU, UA) where participation is required
- Build, develop & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, official bodies, technical institutes, Food chain in order to increase BASF footprint in local Seeds Community.
- Build strong seed expertise & culture across BASF Sales & Marketing teams and contribute to position the image of BASF as a reputable seed company
- Active contribution to APE seeds community
- Contribute timely to required reporting needs (e.g. business report, R&O, sales etc.)
- Establish a strong Seed Supply activity in the region
- Organize the regional product evaluation and actively contribute to the portfolio development
- Active representation of BASF’s interests.
- Behave and insure behavior, comply and insure compliance with BASF Group Vision, Value, guiding Principles and Compliance Code, and in respect of Agrochemical industry “Code of Conduct”. Behave and ensure behavior according to APE Culture pyramid. Be a role model.
- Contributing to maintaining the long-term competitiveness of the BASF Group.
- Comply and ensure compliance to BASF Group EHS Policy and BC EUC and EHS regulations.
Qualification:
Education:
- University Degree (business administration, agriculture or similar), economics education or a similar qualification
Work Experience:
- Profound professional experience in SEED market approach, sales, business management
- Understanding of P&L / financial KPIs and its implications
- Preferable agricultural knowledge
- Professional level of computer literacy
Language skills:
- Russian fluent
- English fluent
