LG Chem is a leading chemical company in Korea. We are manufacturing variety of chemical products and and IT related material such as PVC/ABS/PE/PP & Lithium-ion Batteries/Polarizers etc.
We are looking for a person who will be responsible for provision and facilitation of business support to the Representative office for activities related to office management. With a good command of spoken/written English.
Obligatory :
* CV on English (not considered on Russian)
Responsibilities:
- provide support to market driven activities as determined by the Director of the Representative office
- interact with services which perform cleaning of the premises of the Representative office and maintain general order in the premises of the Representative office;
- interact with different service providers including organizations which perform delivery of mail, Taxi-services, hotels, travel agencies, etc.;
- provide general support to visitors
- ensure maintenance of stationary in the premises of the Representative office, as well as other materials required for normal functioning of the Representative office;
- monitor the working order of the equipment in the premises of the Representative office, take action for troubleshooting in the operation of equipment and systems in the Representative office;
- negotiate, manage procurement and contracts with respect to all goods and services required for provision of business support to the Representative;
- provide support in organization of events organized for Company employees and clients and partners in (including venues, visas etc).
- travel bookings (Flights, car bookings, hotel, visas) and assistance with other administrative issues;
- handle hotel bookings, accommodation and travel for Company and Representative office events;
- interact with IT service providers in order to obtain the necessary services and IT equipment by the Representative Office, as well as ensure compliance with the requirements of the internal regulations of the Representative office and Company policy;
- manage petty cash and cheque issuing, and payment of bills by the Representative office;
- interact with the provider of the accounting services, provide for these purposes required information, as well as monitor timely and quality rendering of services by the provider;
- collect, maintain and properly store primary documents including invoices (and their copies), acts of acceptance and other documents kept by the Representative office.
- provide support in the provision of necessary HR Administrative activities and Office’s budget related to business support of the Representative office;
- collect and maintain holiday, sickness and business trips records of the employees of the Representative office;
- assist the Director of the Representative office other duly authorized managing officials or representatives of the Company with the joiners and leavers process;
- set up of appointments when required
Requirements:
- Higher education
- Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience from 1 year
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Organizational and planning skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
- Work in a foreign company is welcome
- Required: English (at least Intermediate) is perfect, Korean is welcome
