The Job:
The role is accountable for genotyping solutions in the human and agrigenomics domain. It is a thriving business, in which Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a wide range of solutions to best fit customer needs, including Microarray and Targeted Genotyping by Sequencing technologies.
What will you do?
- Be responsible for accelerating the growth in a complex sales environment where expertise and specialization are required.
- Create, implement, track and report performances of the sales plan, targets and forecasts.
- Drive the company’s genotyping solutions by working with other team members, marketing and global business units.
- Partner with local distributors and sales teams from other divisions to identify and develop potential leads.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers in the territory and proactively work on new acquisitions.
What we are looking for?
- Master’s degree in Molecular Biology or related field, PhD is a plus.
- Solid background in Genetics.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in life science environment.
- Proven ability to manage a Sales Strategy throughout a complex sales process.
- Understands the Market: customer’s industry, business process, critical success factors, competitive standing.
- Ability to articulate value by linking solutions to key customer challenges and opportunities, comfortable influencing and negotiating.
- Very good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong networking abilities.
- Fluent in English - written and spoken skills.
- Expected 40-60% travel expected by car, train & airplane.
