Position description:
As a SMM-Manager, you are dedicated business leader, shaping the future of our several watch brands and driving our content efforts (primarily in social media, but can cross with other areas such as events or print materials). You will be personally responsible for community management/moderation and creation of editorial/content calendar. This role is a “front line” function for the brand—which means the candidate will need to align with the brand values and work closely with other key voices on the brand (our founder, design director, creative dept.)
Task:
Work closely with the cross-functional team to develop a channel strategy across all platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest etc.)
Goals:
(Goals and the KPIs will be set together with SMM-Manager)
Key responsibilities for the role of SMM-Manager may include (but are not limited to):
- Act as a primary point of contact for all social media platform partners that include, but are not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and the like
- Create weekly and monthly social calendars and execute against them
- Generate content to be published in close collaboration with teammates and external agencies
- Track and identify new opportunities for our watch brands to participate in real-time opportunities, pop culture moments, and trending topics.
- Execute real-time activations, campaigns and other events as needed.
- Manage external agency partners and influencers for ongoing marketing programs and seasonal campaigns.
- Integrate with other channels of marketing (SEO, print and digital marketing)
- Partner with support teams to assist with resolving customer inquiries and identify potential issues that require escalation and involvement.
- Analyze and assess performance across social media channels. This includes performance of individual posts and content, as well as broad trends across platforms
- Work closely with executive team to ensure all communication efforts are aligned with the brand vision and goals
- Acting as a brand ambassador advising partners and internal teams on how to correctly comply to the required brand style
Key skills and personal attributes:
- High level of self-motivation and ambition
- A strong team-builder and collaborator with excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills, and ability to work in a startup environment
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing
- On the pulse of the latest online marketing trends and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills – fluency in English is required, additional languages are beneficial
