Description:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for the sale of all T&D (transmission & distribution) products in the Qualitrol portfolio within the sales region (Russia) through direct customer contact and account management. Typically, this sales position interfaces with engineers, directors, and VP-level contacts within the electric utilities leveraging Qualitrol’s industry-leading portfolio to drive condition-based monitoring sales to the electric utility market.
- Travel to customer sites to personally meet with the customer to influence engineers and senior level personnel.
- Introduce new products, promoting benefits (i.e., function, price, general value) through product presentations.
- Negotiate prices with customer representatives.
- Identify, build and extensively manage channel partners, when applicable.
- Interface with Qualitrol management staff on marketing strategies and policies.
- Interface with Qualitrol Engineering staff on new product development and to advise customer needs.
- Instruct inside sales personnel with regard to policy; product by product, customer by customer.
- Coordinate customer visits to Qualitrol.
- May be called upon to perform any/all duties of inside sales personnel when in the office.
- Provide Voice of the Customer (VOC) input to customer trends, new product needs, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements: - 3-5 years of B2B sales experience within the region of Russia/CIS.
- Strong technical background in electro/mechanical products, transformers, or the power transmission & distribution industry.
- Knowledgeable on direct sales to electrical utilities or transformer manufacturers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Russian.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong sense of urgency to meet and exceed goals.
Conditions: - Office environment or home office (Moscow/Yekaterinburg/Novosibirsk).
- Minimum 50% travel
