Position: Key Account Manager
Division: Crop Science, Vegetables, Seminis
Purpose:
-
Create and develop a Long term partnership with selected key Accounts to deliver the best customer experience, coordinate all activities with the customer and internal resources, negotiate to propel sales within this accounts in order to impact the responsible area;
-
Align and improve all internal resources/ processes with strong focus on operational excellence to meet the customer needs. Facilitating the job of the distributors. Bring extra revenue in high GM crops. Identify the best vegetable varieties for the Russian market and CIS. Ensure the characterization and the agronomical development of these varieties.
Responsibilities:
- Generate sales by developing and delivering KA Plan to manage key accounts (distributors, dealers, agro holdings), proper sales and guarantee a consistent approach from all organization departments (MD, customer service, etc.) to approach to large complex customers or large territories in line with the operational plan;
- Account management to strengthen relationships with key accounts and develop data based so as to be the first choice in the eye's of the customer through CRM platform;????
- Provide a consistent customer experience leading to customer loyalty;
- Provide demand visibility to secure proper seed production and allotment;
- Maintain, supervise and increase OPF and GRH seeds market share of the defined accounts by searching for opportunities within crops and segments;
- Regularly negotiations with the distributors, aimed at agreeing mutually aligned business targets in line with commercial operational plan (COP);
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly targets by the distributors on volumes by varieties;
- Sales forecast handling for the responsible area;
- Pipeline training and supervision of the distributors Sales forces (marketing activities);
- Preparation, approval and implementation of demo and/or side-by-side trial plans together with distributors;
- Quality complaints handling;
- Gives company and product presentations, participates in creating leaflets, catalogues, DMs;
- Planning & implementation of field days, seminars and other customer related events;
- Trains the new commercial team members in Russia and other CIS countries;
- Supports MDR-s, Marketing Manager;
- Manages personal expenses.
Important for us:
- University degree, preferably in Agro;
- 3+ years experience;
- Knowledge of the vegetable market players in Russia and CIS;
- Knowledge of growing technologies of main vegetable crops in protected field;

Strong communication and problem solving skills, strong customer focus and strategic mindset, good presentation skills, ability to work across functions, with the sales team, customers, distributors, advisor companies, related equipment supplying companies;

Analytical mind and critical thinking; demonstrated capacity to look for the reasons ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind results;
