With innovative international manufacturing company focuses on insulation materials for technical equipment, high-performance foams for high-tech and lightweight applications, and next-generation aerogel blanket technology
You will be a key member of the sales team responsible for developing and achieving maximum sales volume and profit in Russia in line with the EMEA Strategic Plan.
Your main tasks will be to develop strategic plans, establish and manage customer relationships, in relation to Industrial (Energy) segment customers, assessing customers’ technical requirements, and assisting the Company in the development of products to meet the customer’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve territory sales budget by executing the sales strategy
- Develop and manage the key account strategy for the respective geography that supports the overall business strategy and reflect key activities in a Mission Map
- Establish new customer relationships, while managing the existing clients
- Maintain and progress the project pipeline for the region. Document the activities in CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Conduct effective sales presentations
- Educate clients within the Industrial (Energy) segment on the Company solution to contribute to increased penetration in the market, to include contractors, specifiers, and EPC clients
- Create, manage and negotiate contracts, pricing, customized sales & marketing programs that are consistent with the channel strategy to intentionally optimize share within the region
- Work on projects’ specification and implement the Company’s solution into the specification standard of the customers
- Cooperate with local technical institutes
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization, as well as global team members
- Conduct effective market research in order to identify opportunities to expand the Company’s footprint within the Energy sector
- Provide market information to the central team in order to develop new technologies/solutions
- Develop new business targets to replace alternate materials in coordination with the Business Manager
- Maintain strong working knowledge of existing and new product offerings, as well as general industry technology
- Attend national and regional tradeshows as an expert representative of the Company’s Industrial (Energy) product portfolio.
- Cooperate with the distributors in order to establish an efficient supply chain on projects
Requirements
- Higher Engineering Education or combination of technical /natural sciences education and relative experience with insulation materials
- 5+ years of direct sales and client relations experience, with a focus on the Industrial / Energy sector
- Good networking with key stakeholders among Oil & Gaz, Energy companies, and EPC contractors
- Must have a proven track record of developing effective relationships with customers and providing them with technical support
- Technical background (insulation segment would be preferred)
- Experience with a CRM system – salesforce.com would be preferred
- Expertise in work with a level of expected learning and problem-solving on the job
- Self-directed, ability to make sound decisions under pressure, and self-reliant.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and high-matrix environment
- Fluent English
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight
