An innovative Fintech startup is looking for a CEO to lead the development of its digital platform for alternative investments.
The CEO will have a responsibility for company's operation, organizational leadership, external communications (both PR and GR), financial and organizational management, marketing and sales.
The ideal candidate has been successful in startup companies from the financial services industry and technology. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate a track record being the face and the voice of the company (TV interviews, posted articles in media).
Responsibilities:
- Drive the roadmap and the growth plans for the clients’ overall platform strategy, developing key technology partnership, resource plans, budgets and go-to-market plans to achieve it;
- Own platforms &capability roadmap factoring in technology, data, inventory and measurement requirements;
- Seek and evaluate new partnerships to deliver on roadmap;
- Build strong relationships with strategic partners to ensure strong support and partnerships value;
- Take the full responsibility for operational management: team building, budget, cash flow, finance, HR and other functions;
- Evaluate and test new and evolving technologies in the market to ensure they have the best work product to meet clients’ demands;
- Formulating and leading pre-sales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Working directly with clients to understand their business strategy, program requirements & processes;
- Anticipate gaps in offering and drive innovation in new areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related IT/Product field or relevant professional experience;
- 5-8 years of relevant experience after graduation in pre-sales/sales role involving lead generation and sales meetings;
- Extensive knowledge of financial industry or/and e-commerce, experience of implementing IT management projects at banks, e-commerce sector;
- Experience in Operations and IT management; Processes and Organization optimization and improvement.
- People management experiences in matrixed and remote team environments;
- Strong knowledge of Project Management techniques including process mapping, performance documentation, reporting and analytical methodologies, techniques and tools;
- Excellent Spoken English Skills with persuasive communication abilities;
- Go-getter attitude to pursue sales targets and leads;
- Exceptional communicator and presenter in small and large group environments;
- Great motivator of people, able to leverage the best in people to get the right results;
- Extrovert with good interpersonal skills to develop client relationships;
- Innovative, curios, marketing centric, putting the clients’ people first and a collaborative approach.
