Strategic
- Play a leading role in promoting, driving & implementing RB’s digital transformation across a number of key brands with a regional focus
- Key strategic lead in developing the IMEx’s digital vision, strategy and roadmap across portfolio and for individual brands, inclusive of paid and owned assets
- Collaborate closely with Brand Teams to advise them on Brand digital strategy and to ensure that IMEx’s overall digital strategy aligns back to Brand strategy
- Collaborate closely with the digital delivery hub to share expertise, knowledge and liaise on digital strategy
- Drive positive movement, innovation, change to the Brand’s digital presence, campaign communication and operating model
- Drive people focused marketing and executions, using data-driven marketing techniques, with a key responsibility of ensuring ongoing and successful Engagement Plans across all brands
- Integrate and elevate various marketing programs into digital strategy (i.e. consumer, shopper, consumer promotion) to drive one holistic brand experience
- Present to senior management teams the Brand Engagement Plans and digital progress reports
- Educate and advise on the strategic importance of 1P, 2P, 3P data as part of the Data Driven Marketing vision & approach alongside the support from AMS in the Digital Hub.
- Drive innovation by staying current on emerging digital platforms, approaches, measurement techniques, strategies and trends and generate POVs to cascade across the organization
- Represent RB as a thought leader in the digital space, by displaying detailed industry and cross-functional knowledge and participating in industry events and have an active voice in the marketplace
Executional:
- Input into the annual planning of campaigns to ensure digital is included as part of BAU campaign process, and that the budgeting is sufficient to achieve the digital objectives
- Support and advise on the development of campaign objectives to ensure digital objectives are considered alongside traditional media approaches
- Promote and drive use of digital operating model incl. use of campaign tools (such as trello) and setting of pilot timelines.
- Work with media team and audience strategy manager utilising the AMS to develop and advise on activatable, relevant digital audiences
- Lead the prioritisation of test & learn pilots to drive the global digital learning agenda.
- Leading the pilot process and sessions with holistic team end to end from ideation through to Wrap-up.
- Drive the development of a detailed customer journey by platform through intimacy funnel for every digital campaign
- Ensure that the measurement approach selected, including benchmarking key KPIs, is appropriate for achieving the desired campaign objectives and learnings across audience, creative and platform insights.
- Support with the development of a detail media plan to be shared with the media agency which correctly reflects the campaign requirements
- Work with MarTech lead and local BSI counterparts to ensure platform readiness, incl. the implementation of relevant tags, pixels and floodlights to track and collect 1P data
- Drive optimisation meetings whilst campaign is in flight, utilising relevant experts in digital delivery hub, to assess ongoing campaign performance and identify insights to help maximise campaign results and learnings
- Manage agencies and partners to ensure they are optimizing the campaign correctly and that every element of the campaign budget is invested behind the best performing media suppliers.
- Support the identification of learnings across audience, creative and platform and advise on the compilation of the post-campaign analysis document
- Ensure all learnings are being captured and made available to the relevant stakeholders so smarter decision making is possible both x-brand and x-market
- Present learnings to digital delivery hub and to digital activation community to ensure learnings are recorded and used across the Globe
- Develop and refine existing op model to create a competitive advantage vs peer set sharing back suggested improvements with digital activation community and relevant global team members (use of data, key people in right positions)
- Drive x-functional ways of working ensuring x-functional campaign teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs
- Act as a coordinator and leader during digital campaign ready to support with the hands on activation of programs, where needed
Team development
- Be seen as a local expert in digital marketing helping to advise and support teams to develop their digital knowledge and ensure best-in-class digital execution
- Work with Global team to develop and deploy in-market training plan to upskill local teams across marketing, e-comm, BSI etc
- Mentor team with various digital knowledge and background (ie. digital experts, ABMs)
- Elevate the visibility and performance of the team across functional teams as well as with senior management
- Drive x-functional ways of working within IMEx by involving relevant teams in digital journey and digital campaigns
- Drive x-market learning by building and contributing to the digital community of Digital Activation Managers
