Exness is a successful fintech organization, one of the leaders of the global CFD brokerage industry. We are now in a phase of expansion and continuously developing our Payments function as well, therefore we are looking for a Payments Operations Manager that will join our awesome team in sunny Cyprus.
A Senior Payments Operations Manager leads the payments operations team and oversees its functions, resources and outputs in order to ensure the Payment Function’s operations run smoothly in collaboration with other key related departments. Conduct the regular review of all operational processes and procedures, suggest and implement improvements in order to ensure the most effective way of operational management in a technology environment.
The main focus for our Payment (Senior) Operational Manager is to apply all the skill set into organizing huge operational processes effectively.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and managing team resources and overall financial budgeting for the function;
- Undertake the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Operations plan to meet the strategic goals and delivery of overall targets (KPIs);
- Provide high level advice to the Head Of Payments on strategic planning and business opportunities, risk management and continuous quality improvement;
- Ensure proper and timely tracking of all performance metrics, conduct analysis and report results to Senior Management and team;
- Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the function, working with managers to ensure the goals cascade to all employees;
- Providing guidance to direct reports, monitor teamwork and performance and take corrective actions when necessary;
- Manage, inspire and motivate a number of Operation Managers and Team Leaders to ensure operational excellence, high employee engagement and service improvement is achieved;
- To have a well-defined Communication and Engagement model in place to ensure all teams understand the performance of the business and also that they understand the needs of their teams;
- Selecting, effectively managing and coaching Operations Managers and Team Leads; Guiding the talent identification, mentor and support the learning and development of team members;
- Working across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals;
- Collaborating with the teams and resources on internal and external projects;
- Ensuring the operation of the Payment providers according to Service Level Agreement;
- Supervise that all well-designed onboarding procedure while launching new PSPs are in place;
- Manage the team responsible for customer facing transactions issues and incident management to ensure the timely and effective resolution of all issues;
- Manage the team responsible for processing of manual transactions and operational fraud control in order to ensure the high quality risk management in operations.
- Ensure the smooth operational product management based on the set up targets and required procedures;
- Handle issues quality control, investigate complaints, and ensure the highest levels of customer’s payments related issues resolution is provided;
- The continuous identification and implementation of operational best practice, identifying and highlighting further opportunities for services and process improvements;
- Undertake other related activities as required.
The Successful Applicant has:
- 5+ years of experience in management operation positions in retail banking / financial services / payments industry;
- Experienced in managing large multi-skilled operational teams;
- Experience in process automatisation, operations tools / dashboards development, organisation of the operations data flow;
- Excellent leadership, people management, operation of a huge number of transactions, communication, influencing, conflict management skills at a senior level with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Management experience through a time of change, such as establishment of a new business model or staff structure;
- Ability to ensure smooth operations in the remote work environment;
- A capability of translating business strategy into day to day delivery;
- Ability to demonstrate achievement of results in form of reports;
- Effective decision-making, organisational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Data entry and data processing skills, ability to work with big data;
- Ability to delegate effectively and maintain a team work environment.
- Adaptability and stress tolerance.
- Fluent in English, Russian is advantage
