Main tasks & key responsibilities:
- Seek and prospect new customers with revenue not less than 100000 EUR/year each;
- Only pure hunting activities, high number of customer visits per day;
- Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer’s business and the market;
- Assess the type and size of customer needs, recommend solutions based on customer needs by using industry knowledge;
- Support customer retention by conducting joints visits with Product, Trade Lanes and organizing workshops inviting customers to share information on updated regulations, products, etc;
- Use networks within the various Sales channels within DP DHL to collaborate on customers, marketing strategies and offer a full supply chain of services to service customer needs;
- Collect relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepare documents for customer implementation in order to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations (SLA's & SOP's);
- Transfer SC with high value potential to Key Account Sales channel and opportunities with lower value to Telesales.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- A passion for selling;
- Results orientated;
- Good collaborator;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Comprehensive knowledge of air freight, freight forwarding, ocean freight and multi modal transport industry;
- A successful Sales track record of 2-3 years of relevant experience in business or freight forwarding qualification;
- Strong negotiation, communication and client management skills, ability to arrange cold phone calls/visits as well as interact effectively with management of leading multinationals and Russian companies;
- Strong knowledge of the best industry practices and a solid grasp of the industry development trends in Russia;
- Excelent knowledge of organization and understanding of internal communication and administration channels in global or multinational freight forwarding companies;
- A BS/BA or 2-3 years logistics industry experience is preferred;
- Experience using a CRM system as well as MS Office Products;
- Good all round communication and presentation skills in English and Russian.
