Responsibilities
- Achieving volume revenue & market share goals with agencies
- Deliver growth from new and ad hoc opportunities
- Sales Teams shared duties
Regular Activities
- Own portfolio of agencies including tour/cruise operator, consolidator TMCs, etc.
- Thoroughly understand needs of assigned agency accounts (typical O&Ds, travel class, price sensitivity segment served).
- Be a key source of market intelligence on competitors' fares, promotion and marketing activities.
- Keep up to date on latest airline fares, product schedule, and network info.
- On annual basic, prepare account plans and align with Sales Planning adjust periodically as needed
- Deploy the right solution (incentive agreements, nett fares etc) to growth airline share.
- Build relationship with agencies and ensure they are up to date on latest promotion; pricing and product via multiply channels - phone, email, face-to-face sales calls, and in-house staff events.
- Ensure incentive contract commitments are executed / achieved on time.
- Execute intervention to improve performance, including joint marketing campaign with agencies.
- Maintain corporate branding.
- Ensure airline is marketed well and easy for agencies to sell from an operational perspective.
- File sales reports in CRM with account and sales call information including upcoming interaction.
- Analyze performance of accounts to adjust solution as needed and document learning in CRM.
- Pro-actively feedback internally where business might be hampered by airline policy of process
- Pro-actively identify Group sales opportunities; execute with help of Sales Ops.
- Stay up-to date on local events, disruption, holidays, competitor's actions to capture temporary or seasonal opportunities that occur
- Analyze performance against such opportunities and document results in CRM.
- Represent airline in trade show, fairs, and industry events.
- Share B2B/B2C sales/marketing materials created for use by rest of the team
- Be well prepared for regular sales meetings.
Requirements
- Practical Experience on position of Sales in Aviation industry.
- Russian Travel Trade knowledge. Own a portfolio of corporates and agencies including TO/TA, consolidators, TMCs, etc
- Business communication skills, negotiation skills. Knowledge of GDSs is desirable. Experience in using CRM systems is desirable.
- Fluent English.
