Key account manager will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed.
Responsibilities
- Have to develop a systematic approach to leading and growing of an organization's confirmed most valuable customers to maximize mutual value and achieve mutually beneficial goals. Allocating key account focus on three core topics: penetrating, expanding, and protecting accounts from competition. Main focus on the biggest Private chains, departmental hospitals and/or other big accounts where centralization procurement is established.
- Build strong relationships with the client, identify challenges or opportunities, and find ways to assist with these challenges and opportunities.
- Cross BU’s approach to benefit the customer and increase company’s share within the client organization.
- Overall day to day management of the Key Accounts;
- Negotiating tactical and strategic agreements working at different level CEO/Chief doctor, procurement department, relevant departments
- Build and implement growth strategies by working with the account;
- Plan and implement marketing/customer training activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values;
- Provide full customer analysis for budget and forecasting processes.
- Ensure achievement and overachievement of sales goals, increase of profitability and competitiveness of the Company through implementation of promotion plans and strategies.
- Viewing key account investment returns as tied to long-term business strategy.
- Prepare and regular review account plan and develop the business case in case additional resources are required
- Work in close cooperation with relevant BU’s management and closely collaborate with sales and/or territory managers
- Collecting customer feedback on company products
- Operational activities - coordination of product samples, approbation, coordination of schedules and delivery conditions, sales planning for the short and long term, control of product stocks
- Fulfillment of monthly sales plans.
Requirements
- Sales experience in medical devices industry not less than 5 years
- High level negotiator
- Winning behavior
- Experience of Negotiating margins/ agreements with Customers;
- Proven success in success and experience in managing customers and achieving genuine sales development;
- Travel ability
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Written, spoken English
- Communication and presentation fluency
- Ability to work cross functional
