The Moscow office of Maersk has an opening for the Head of Project Management.
In this role you will be managing a team of highly skilled continuous improvement colleagues and project managers based in several countries, interacting daily with international stakeholders and be involved into supporting business transformation and managing projects of different complexity with extensive geographical scope, large business scale and impact, bridging the sales and operational activities, giving you an opportunity to develop your professional skills in global environment.

Key responsibilities
•Build and manage team of project managers
•Prepare and drive overall project plans across all geographies and functions for a specified list of projects
•Provide clear visibility of project status to internal and external stakeholders by establishing project milestones, go/no-go stage gates, and operational readiness criteria. Track the progress against these and escalate issues and delays in a timely manner.
•Lead Continuous improvement projects, customer implementation projects
•Remove road blocks and impediments to meet timelines
•Establish and evaluate the success criteria for the project and adjust solutions and timelines as needed throughout the project
•Act as local anchor for new systems implementations and process changes
•Be responsible for identifying, initiating and supporting new improvement opportunities and provide the right level of coaching, support and training
•Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
•Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements.
•Ensure the right framework is in place to encourage employees at all levels to bring forward ideas for continuous improvement
•Ensure best practices from other Areas are considered and local successful improvements are shared with other Areas
•Support the Area Customer Experience Leadership team in continuously improving performance
We are looking for
•Minimum 5 years of experience from positions within a forwarding, shipping or supply chain management preferably in customer experience roles
•Supply chain solution understanding
•Strong leadership skills (incl. delegation, motivating others, influence without authority, building efficient teams)
•Highly structured and analytical mind
•Process improvement & Project Management skills
•Project management certification (for example PMBOK or alike), Agile knowledge would be a benefit but not a must
•M&A experience (nice to have)
•Constantly looks for ways to improve work processes with a 360-degree view towards our customers, the market and processes.
•Excellent communication and influence skills
•Ability to build strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders
