- You will be responsible for managing commercial projects. Here are the tasks that you will have to face:
-
Writing documentation - you will create project requirements in English for users and clients of these projects. You will keep this documentation in Confluence - it is similar to Google doc and Github. Don't worry, it is very easy to learn!
-
Restoring order in processes and documentation of the projects - documentation is necessary for those people who will gradually be connected to projects. You need to make sure that everything is organized and easy to read.
-
Monitoring the work and progress of the projects - tasks are performed by both students of the school and other people in the company. At the moment the students are having issues with staying organized and allocating the tasks. Your duty would be to track who is responsible for what and whether the task needs to be transferred to another person to be completed in time.
-
Understanding the processes internally - for example, now the company is doing a project creating a CRM system for accounting for the work processes of small companies. Your task is to draw up requirements for the next parts of the project, prioritize the tasks and assign performers (students, developers, etc.), as well as create a task execution plan and run a retrospective.
Требования к работнику на вакансии: Junior Project Manager at PASV - the programming school from Silicon Valley (Remote)
-
Excellent written English skills - you'll write all the documentation for projects in English, so we expect you to have a minimum of an Advanced level, and for sure we don't want to hear or see any mistakes. Moreover, sometimes English-speaking students join the projects, with whom you will also communicate (in written or oral form).
-
Strong self-reliance and the ability to create solutions and make decisions on your own with the minimum required confirmations.
-
Proactiveness and strong willingness to help the business grow - we expect you to be a person with many ideas, not just an executor.
-
Organizing skills: you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and don't want any minute to go to waste.
-
Excellent attention to detail – you are used to double-checking everything and can quickly notice the slightest mistake.
-
Be a quick learner - it's impossible to know everything, we get it, but we want you to be ready to dive into processes you never faced before and be ready to learn some software or programs that you've never used.
-
Ability to adjust to PST time-zone - that means we expect you to be able to work with Viktor and his team whenever necessary during their working hours (after 19:00 Moscow time) to discuss tasks and coordinate all the processes during stand-up calls. It's great if you can also work with the team in their evening time, that is, from 5 am Moscow time, but not necessarily.
-
Not necessary but will be a big plus:
-
Experience in project management or any mathematical project
-
Technical Degree such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics, Information Systems, etc.
-
Working experience in Project Management.
-
Part-time employment (4 working hours per day, 5/2). Please note that we support your desire to combine this job with studies, however, we will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs.
-
Remote work. You may be located in any country or city, just need a good Internet connection and the opportunity to adjust your working schedule to have overlapping hours with the team.
-
Great opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the Project Management field.
-
Stability - this is not an internship or project work, we consider only the candidates looking for a long-term commitment.
-
Quick selection process.
