RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the delivery of service support excellence on refractive surgery and Premium products;
- Be the link in the region between the field support activities (service) and the global product support organization in Munich;
- Be the interface with required service support teams, sales Manager, customer service in order to achieve the objective;
- Support and supervise new products in limited launch phase;
- Ensure that health and safety standards are continually met;
- Attain or exceed quarterly and annual qualitative objectives;
- Work while proactively communicating at all levels and with all functions;
- Develop and improve tools and systems to train and monitor service skills level of the distributors in the region;
- Manage the level of support brought to current and prospective High-Tech customers for all refractive products (mainly equipment installation, preventive maintenance, emergency repair, remote support / monitoring);
- Schedule and plan maintenance services customers on their B&L TPV systems in the region (Russia &CIS countries);
- Be the interface with required technical support, customer service and parts staff to complete the timely repair of refractive products at the customer site;
- Escalate all customer issues in appropriate manner through formal and informal escalation methods to secure timely resolution to customer problems;
- Maintain company assets, including parts inventory and test equipment assigned;
- Understand country commercial strategy & Objectives in the covered region;
- Ensure technical standards and safety requirements in line with the manufacturer’s specifications;
- Ensure a continuous research of the less costly solution for the company;
- Act as filter towards the 3rd tier service organization (manufacturing site global product support team);
- Manage inventory of local spare parts stocks.
REQUIREMENTS: -
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Machine Construction, Medical);

3 years’ experience in technical service/product support (medical device);

Ability to travel within the region on a frequent base (70% of the time);

Upper- intermediate English (spoken and written);
-
Experience in the active medical device service operation;

Ability to lead direct and indirect service teams;
-
Good verbal and communicative skills;
-
Strong personal management skills including time management, workload; prioritization, responsiveness, multi-tasking and flexibility;

On-the-job Training for all active medical devices supported by the local field service team.
