Buhler Animal Nutrition Business Unit is a total solution provider in the field of animal nutrition and oil processing, offering all relevant machines and process technologies for the sustainable production of safe feed and food. This includes hammer mills, mixers, pellet mills, cracker mills and extruders but also transportation, sieving, cleaning and bagging solutions as well as additional services like plant automation, customer services and trainings.
Buhler Group in Russia is looking for a specialist in Animal Nutrition to join the company as Area Sales Manager to handle the feed and oil market in the region. This position will be based in Moscow covering mainly Russian market and supporting other markets in Belarus, Kazakhstan, etc.
Tasks:
- Achievement of the sales targets in the market area assigned (CIS w/o UA)
- Customer support and consulting in technical, technological and commercial matters
- Prospecting, identifying new customers and working with the existing ones to ensure that Buhler machinery is top of mind for any new projects
- Support development of customer-specific quotation concepts with involvement of internal and external specialists up to the point of contract design
- Contract’s negotiations, support of customer projects fulfillment from the delivery up to commissioning and start-up as well as maintaining after-sales relations
- Communication and participation in solving problems related to customer orders or concerns
- Provision of market data, such as market potential, competitors’ activities, customers’ behavior, etc.
- Daily work and interaction with engineering, quoting, commercial personnel located in Europe and China
Requirements: - Higher specialized technical training background with continuing business education (marketing/sales/commercial)
- Several years of professional experience in selling capital goods with experience in the fields of technology, process, or plant engineering
- Knowledge of feed market and experience in the sector of feed production
- Willingness to travel extensively (min. 60%)
- Sharp customer focus, high flexibility and stress management capabilities
- Autonomous, sales-proactive, self-driven and dynamic personality
- Excellent communication abilities, negotiating skills and diplomacy
- Excellent command of English is mandatory
