We are glad to announce that our client, an international company working in petrochemical domain, has opened a vacancy of Catalysts & Adsorbents Market Engineer in Russia and Central Asia region (for Moscow office)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, present and defend commercial and technical proposals, together with the skilled technical specialists
- Manage contract preparation, translation, finalization and negotiation in cooperation with Legal Department
- Ensure the interface between Clients, local representatives and different services in the Company and potential parties working with the Company
- Ensure the prospection work through:
- Organizing regular visits to Clients in the Russian/Central Asian region and be able to make presentations including technical aspects.
- Organizing visits of the Clients to the Company or other Clients’ facilities
- Analyzing and understanding Client’s needs and demands, assisting Client and persuading them to change their habits by gaining confidence and interest in the Company’s solution, showing its benefits
- Developing synergies with other teams inside the Company (technical Services, Process Licensing, Gas), identifying and communicating project opportunities for other Company’s businesses
- Participating or organizing conferences/seminars mobilizing adequate resources from the Company (Marketing, Technologists, Tech Services, Consulting…)
- Building & strengthening the professional network, collecting favorable contacts within the Client’s enterprise
- Be accountable for Catalyst and Adsorbents market annual growth rate (tonnage) and orders follow-up in the region: reporting, forecasts, CRM data filling up, transmission of information to BU Catalysts/Adsorbents sales support…
- Ensure the monthly activity report to transmit relevant information to management:
- Transmitting all the relevant information concerning the clients, prospects and their facilities
- Surveying the feedback from the clients on advantages/drawbacks of the Company’s products and clients’ operation
- Gathering information about the competitors and products feedback
- Pointing out market trends and main events in the area
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or a degree in Sales and Marketing, ideally with a good knowledge in operations of refinery, petrochemical plants and gas processing
- Deep knowledge and experience of catalysts and adsorbents.
- At least 5-10 years of total working experience in the refining and petrochemicals, direct experience in Sales would be a plus.
Required languages:
- Russian mother tongue and fluent English, knowing French would be a plus
- Good technical writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- You also obviously need to have a strong listening spirit to understand customers’ needs and be able to give the relevant answers
- You like new challenges and have confidence and experience to adapt to new situations
- You have generally good contacts with people which will be helpful to develop relationships with colleagues and customers
- You never hesitate to make proposals of improvements/changes to your colleagues and even management for continuous improvement and enhanced efficiency
- You are open-minded to understand and appreciate the different cultures you will address within our customers and colleagues
- You need to be available for frequent business trips within the region (40 to 60%) and to visit office in Europe (mainly for training and meetings when needed)
Conditions:
- Labor Contract with Moscow office in accordance with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
- Report to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Catalyst Sales Director based in Europe.
