Dressings NAMETRUB RDC Technologist
Dressings business in NAMETRUB has a very ambitious growth plans. To support the current and future growth of this important business we are looking for a Dressings NAMETRUB RDC Technologist. This is a great role for an experienced person who wants to perform in a fast and demanding business-oriented environment.
Key Role Description
Dressings NAMETRUB RDC team is organized as a small, but efficient team covering all Dressings products (mayonnaise, ketchup, sauces) and is setting up an expert capability network within the NAMET RUB region. We are a team of Dressings experts, located in Russia and Turkey, and with extended team members also in Israel.
We are looking for a highly motivated expert in dressings technologies (Structured Emulsions and Tomato Based products), who comes equipped with strong skills in dressings technology, including a proven record of accomplishment of minimally 3 years of experience in Dressings categories. Good experience with Factory implementation of new products as well as expertise in the consumer technical insights are preferred. Project management skills are an asset. Excellent collaborative, experiential and empowerment mindset next to thinking with a founder’s mentality are necessary.
Full fluency in English written and spoken is a must.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading technical execution and implementation of Dressings innovation plans across NAMETRUB region
- Driving cost optimization (VIP Material Efficiency) projects, harmonization and optimization of ingredients and recipes reduction for Dressings within synergy in retail and UFS in NAMETRUB along with delivery of R&D-relevant elements of 5S incl pipeline fill for upcoming years
- Working closely with GDCs located in Vlaardingen to secure flawless deploy of global innovations and renovations.
- Making decisions through proper technical assessment of the risks, aligning stakeholders on key issues/concerns in order to ensure OTIF launches.
- Ensuring CFD implementation for new and existing product formulations to appropriate technical performance targets with close collaboration with GDC
- Actively supporting Finance team for cost benchmarking exercises/ PiCi analysis
- Ensuring compliance to Internal Unilever protocols, External regulatory environment, while developing product solutions with respect to commitment to safety, environment, claim support, specification management etc.
- Securing technical information delivery for all projects as preparation of gate keeping ensuring environmental impact (sustainability) in Eco-design tool
- Developing specifications for product
- Establishing the strong partnership relations with different functions, including Marketing, CTI, QA, SC, Finance, and legal RA
- Play a key role in Dressings RDC in strong collaboration with entire NAMETRUB community
Job Requirements
- MSc degree in food technology
- Working experience in R&D with a minimum of 3 years
- Good technical expertise in at least one of the foods categories (Structure Emulsions and/or Tomato Based products)
- Experienced technical project leader with a proven track record of project delivery in a complex, multi-country environment
- Good supply chain knowledge – particularly for local supply chain.
- Strong multiple interfaces management and capability of leading virtual teams
- Very good team player
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English “written and spoken”
Professional Skills
- Fully operational project management & communication skills (English language is a prerequisite)
- Fully operational in at least one of the foods categories formulation and processing (Structure Emulsions and/or Tomato Based products)
- Affinity to work closely with marketing and supply chain
- Motivational and positive mindset, can –do mentality
- Work under pressure and time constraints
