Our Client, International Prodaction Company (location - Veliky Novgorod) is lokking for Finance Director
Tasks:
- Key analytical support to plant management
- Proactively use and build tools to assess existing product profitability, identify improvement opportunities and follow-through as required with plant and operations management
- Delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting to all key stakeholders including site management, central and Companies House. In parallel ensuring full compliance to financial and regulatory requirements
- Lead monthly discussions of plant financial performance versus Budget, Prior Year and/or Forecast and for all plant review meetings to ensure the financial non financial targets are effectively managed (waste, efficiency etc) and Site Management Team remain focussed on outperforming versus agreed targets
- Coordinate preparation and review of plant budget/forecasts with management till central approval
- Manage/Produce evaluations of plant capital spending projects for review and approval (risks, costs, time, quality). Experience in new construction/modernizations is a plus.
- Lead the quarterly customer profitability analysis program for the site to ensure that cross functional teams deliver profit improvement through agreed action plans
- Proactively participate in identifying areas of improvement in plant operations via internal meetings, interaction with staff, walk the floor, safety, etc.
- Establish, monitor and enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with ARP policies and procedures along with semi-annual ASX certification, key contact for internal and external plant audits.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining all necessary policies and procedures to ensure robust financial management and control within the company
- Drive Working Capital and Cash Flow performance
- Develop and drive plant profitability improvement ideas and programs through cost reduction / elimination of programs / ideas. Drives outperformance planning and executing across plant
- Identify and elevate actual and projected financial risks and opportunities to management on a timely basis.
- Develop strategic plans for the business to determine the future direction of the company
- Link to IT systems and Amcor IT team
Experience and qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in finance and accounting is required. MBA would be a plus.
- Solid understanding of IAS and Internal Controls.
- 3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience as Financial Analyst / Plant Controller (or equivalent),
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Strong IT skills
- English - fluent
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Solid analytical skills. Must be technically strong, especially in operating finance (financial planning & analysis, costing, accounting and reporting, operating reviews, etc.). In addition, as important is the ability to provide sound business judgment and strategic thinking.
- Commercial and business awareness.
- Able to lead, develop and motivate a team with strong leadership and people management skills. Capable of coaching and developing others.
- A thinker who can provide a continuous flow of new ideas, insights and analyses to enhance the business, taking it to the next level, with approach to driving productivity and process improvements.
- Proven ability to not only generate new ideas, but also to build upon and reinforce others.
