Novotel Adagio Ibis Moscow Kievskaya is looking for organized and people-oriented ASSISTANT RESERVATIONS MANAGER to conduct vigilant and appropriate yield management and actively contribute towards revenue generation through effective management of the reservations department.
Our Assistant Reservations Manager will be responsible for:
- Organizing, supervising and coordinating team's work of Reservations Agents and Telephone Operators according to established guidelines;
- Supervising reservations staff to ensure that all hotel policies, procedures, regulations and standards are followed;
- Effective delegating of reservation department activities, including preparation of daily reservations reports, handling reservations inquiries and providing timely responses to clients, monitoring the commission payments to travel agents and ensuring all deadlines are followed;
- Keeping reservations staff informed on all changes or developments within the hotel and the company;
- Training the reservations staff on effective telephone sales techniques and ensuring the high level of customer service;
- Providing feedback to team members on their performance and improvements;
- Developing and motivating staff to increase productivity;
- Assisting in managing staffing schedules, shift changes, payrolls and labor costs;
- Creating SOPs for reservations department;
- Performing any other duties assigned by Reservations Manager.
Our Assistant Reservations Manager obtains the following qualifications:
- demonstrates ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company;
- has strong problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities;
- is proficient in the use of PC, well acquainted with Internet resources;
- has good writing skills;
- is energetic, initiative and reliable, focused on the details;
- is able to work under pressure in multitasking environment and meet the deadlines with a minimum supervision;
- has more than 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience;
- is fully proficient in English.
