We are looking for a successful Customer Experience Manager to join our Vertica Customer Engagement?Team. In this role you will be engaging with our customers to identify, prioritize and lead improvements in?customer experience. This position encompasses supporting and selling?within Vertica’s installed base as well as non-company accounts to achieve your assigned quota. You will build customer confidence in Vertica’s products, solutions, services, and support quality.
Responsibilities
Customer Experience Managers (CEM) are essential in creating a positive customer experience. While working within an assigned territory, Customer Experience Managers will not only secure the renewal but will focus on finding and closing new opportunities within an existing customer portfolio.
- Use knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.
- Proactively drive campaigns to build the pipeline.
- Responsible for customer renewal outcomes, with a goal to achieve and exceed the annual renewal target and minimize churn
- Identify key trends related to the renewal process and client feedback to help the business improve retention rates, address common risk factors, and scale success
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute account plans through the management and coordination of?sales?activities
- Create customer proposals/quotes and responsible for overall order processing
- Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
- Advocates for client needs and requirements in proposing solutions
Education and Experience
- University degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Typically, 2 or more years of IT sales?experience within the software industry
- Advanced organization, policies, business, technical and functional knowledge
- Technical ability?to develop and coordinate a total?sales?engagement in a complex environment
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven results in articulating value propositions?and solution discussions
- Consistently demonstrates?proactive?activities within accounts
- Experience managing end-to-end?sales?processes
- Easily applies IT and industry solution, product, and service knowledge to solving business challenges
- Strong industry acumen, keeps current with trends and can participate in client?planning?discussions
