The mission of the product analyst in Sales team, is to provide insights into commercial business performance, sales customer journey, sales channel effectiveness, Sales Pipeline analysis etc. with the goal to support stakeholders’ decision-making with impactful analyses and recommendations. The insights will be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-Based). The product analyst will also have the mission to act as domain expert for (digital) analytics expertise, working together with the other data analytics disciplines (data collection, data quality & management, data engineering, data visualization) to consistently drive forward the data literacy maturity of the company, with the main focus in sales activities, combining pre and post sales analytics
Outcomes:
- Design comprehensive report and build consistent insights based on sales objectives
- Provide single point of truth of customer data accross the organization, by combining, stiching and transforming data, to be used to any BI tool
- Define steering KPIs, for Pre Sales and Post sales, as well as produce comprehensive reporting to different stakeholders
- Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
- Provide comprehensive and standardize data collection solution, in agreement with sales teams
Competencies :
- Hands on experience & knowledge using analytic tools preferably in an ecommerce enterprise environment
- Knowledge of data manipulation language such as SQL, R or Python
- Familiarity with business and sales terms, such as CAC, LTV, retention, activation, conversion, sales pipeline, sales closing etc
- Knowledge of CRM system and sales automation tools e.g. Salesforce, Bitrix CRM, Zapier etc
- Good presentation skills and have clear understanding of translating technical terms to simple language
- Emotional intelligence, openness to new, strong ability to listen and hear
- Creative and able to think unconventionally by apply descriptive and diagnostic analytics principals
- Good project management skills, capable to prioritize and follow the agile methodology way of working
- Perfect spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of digital data collection, tagging/tracking principals and tools, such as Google Tag Manager, and/or Customer Data Platforms
