Terumo Russia is a part of Terumo Europe. With an office in Moscow, and a commercial team spread all over Russia, who manage our distributor network, we bring best in class medical devices to healthcare professionals and patients. Currently, we are looking for an Area Manager, to manage all activities related to sales and development of our Interventional Systems (TIS) product portfolio in Southern and Central Federal Districts of Russian Federation.
1. Achievement of business targets
You act as the main contact person for customers regarding products within the field of Interventional Systems. Key in this role is that you ensure a complete understanding and monitoring of the customer needs; guarantee a high quality follow up and offer the support they need.
You ensure smooth and transparent communication with distributors and dealers: you get appropriate feedback from dealers regarding sales per accounts; competitors’ activities, forecasts, and other relevant data. You set up budgets and sales development plans and do a regular follow up with the distributors.
Furthermore, you collaborate with the marketing team and other departments (RA, QA, Technical Service) on analysing all issues related to your area and co-create corrective actions to reach the objective and targets.
Lastly, you maintain an excellent relation with external official parties, authorities, and organisations.
2. Business development and market knowledge
You constantly work on the quality of the Terumo and dealer force. As an expert in the Southern and Central Federal Districts of Russia, you actively search for opportunities to grow the TIS business, you understand the market and the competition.
3. Product knowledge
Thanks to the trainings we offer, and your own drive to learn, you are the expert of the TIS product portfolio. You ensure that the dealers are properly trained and are available for physicians when there are questions.
4. Other tasks
Of course, you deliver a monthly detailed report to your manager to ensure a smooth communication and information stream. As part of your development, you will get some additional projects to contribute to your own development and the development of Terumo.
You act as an ambassador for the Terumo brand in all your activities, carrying out our company values, our high-quality standards and are compliant to all rules and regulations.
Your profile
You have a higher education or University degree in Medical or Paramedical orientation or other relevant educations and have experience in an international environment, medical devices, pharma or biomedical is an asset. You understand what’s it like working in a multinational matrix organisation, collaborating with colleagues in Russia and in other countries.
You can look back on minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in similar function – experience with dealer network and business development via multichannel network is an advantage

Important professional skills are a Good financial understanding of budget and target setting, excellent knowledge of Interventional procedures and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Important technical skills are confident PC user (Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc),
ensure a good internal collaboration, you have good working knowledge of English.
You have a positive attitude and be pro-active, have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints.
