UVL Robotics is a well-known international provider of robotics solutions in logistics, supply chain and transport industry.
Position Overview:
The Regional business development manager, will be responsible for additional business development and sales resource to drive and accelerate awareness of UVL services and products, building a significant sales pipeline, across the region assigned (Netherlands and Europe).
Profession experience and soft skills:
• Good communication skills & people manager;
• Solid background in logistics, warehousing and transport industries or IT/telecom;
• Deep contacts with 3PL providers and FMCG customers- desirable;
• Business development and New product implementation;
• Expertise in pre-sales / product management support is an advantage;
• Good understand of technical products and functions;
• Proven track record in B2B sales (logistic/IT/telecom/transport);
• Innovative and tolerant;
• Competent in all MS Office software, top messengers;
• English fluent, German native or similar;
• UAV knowledge of regulatory industry (would be an advantage)
Specific responsibilities:
• Identify, contact, qualify European companies who require transportation, logistics and warehousing business improvement;
• Business Development and Sales activity management through direct end customers and B2B integrators, partners, focus on commercial growth and customer satisfaction;
• Meeting with potential clients, manage and control all stages of the sales cycle through to closure, delivering the sale via regional entity and signing commercial contacts;
• Pro-actively generate a valuable sales pipeline across verticals market sectors including but not limited to Warehousing, Logistics, FMCG and retail companies;
• Collaborate in a highly distributed matrix organization Europe and CIS offices across senior leadership teams like Sales and Marketing manager;
• Work with LoB teams (Inventory, Delivery and Monitoring), Product management to support and develop new cross opportunities;
• Creates a business development database in order to evaluate performance and organize client and prospective client information. Weekly, Monthly, Quarter, Annual reports based on corporates standards on time and also using CRM systems;
• Regional B2C customer support: contacts with key accounts, basic support, training on products, technical information, service information;
• Competitors activity monitoring and control;
• Make presentations and run seminars for potential customers and partners, also attend Exhibition and equipment demonstration with demonstration team support;
• Support marketing activity like SMM, news, press, customer workshops and Webinars;
• Fosters beneficial relationships with business partners, potential clients, and business contacts in order to attract new business and enhancing organization reputation;
• Closes new business deals by developing and negotiating contracts with the clients;
• Reports weekly cold calls to the clients;
• Performs weekly meetings with the clients;
• Travels Domestically and Internationally if necessary;
• Responsible for any contractual work, business correspondence, MoMs, acts with customers, being the key interface for the customer in contract management, processing and inquiry management;
• Support in any sales support activities when needed (business trip management, budget management) and preparing any reports and presentations as per the request for the Business Development Director.
Important qualifications:
• B2B sales expertise for the key companies present in the region (Logistics, transport, IT/Telecom, delivery);
• Good network in Logistics, Warehousing, transport, IT/Telecom, delivery -desirable;
• Sales experience 5+ years;
• English – fluent;
• Customer focus;
• Proactive sales mentality;
• Business trip up to 20%.
Education:
University or College degree is ideal, and has a professional approach towards continuous personal development.
