We are looking for a passionate certified Junior Data Scientist with either fresh graduate to be trained or 1-2 years of experience.
Successful candidate will have strong analytical mindset and understanding on the current and upcoming technologies to be used to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The role of the junior data scientist is to work closely with Data Scientist to deliver value, measurable insights to the wider business using various statistical tools and techniques on top of a variety of data sources both internal and external to the business. Being able to operate in a changing environment with ambiguity and being a self-starter seeking out ways to add value
Main duties:
Lead data analysis projects, using data tools and statistical methods to validate and interpret data collected by the dealership and through third party sources.
Offer critical insights and pinpoint areas of opportunity by providing Marketing and Sales Managers with trend projections as well as accurate analyses of campaign ROI and sales lead performance.
Inform marketing strategy by analyzing marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI, sharing insights about response rates across channels and audiences with Marketing Managers.
Enable sales teams to increase success by identifying customers and prospects with high buying potential.
Build the dealership’s customer knowledgebase by conducting valid research on customer needs, feedback and demographics, and maintain CRM tools to ensure data quality.
Drive customer-focused solution development and business strategies by integrating multiple sources of data and sharing findings with management through written reports and effective visualizations.
Assist digital marketing teams by leveraging personalized content and customer insights to support marketing efforts.
Own and maintain all dealership databases, performing upgrades, ensuring data integrity and maximizing storage capacity and performance.
Report on specific projects as well as data analysis activities, sharing insights with the Sales and Marketing teams on a regular or monthly basis.
Support internal analytics teams by facilitating knowledge-sharing and skill development.
Ability to perform complex analysis such as regression, trending and forecasting preferred.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or statistics or related business study
At least 1-3 years of progressive experience with data analytics or a related field
English – Upper Intermediate / Advanced
System user, Data providers as needed e.g. social, weather, drones, CAT
Analytics Technology firms e.g. Tableau, SAS, R, Python, Data Virtualization
