Novotel Adagio Ibis Moscow Kievskaya is looking for an passionate and guest-oriented FRONT OFFICE MANAGER to assist in managing all aspects of the front office areas which may include but is not limited to guest registration, bell services, business center and telephone services to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize hotel profitability and to adhere to all brand standards and desk merchandising.
Our Front Office Manager will be responsible for:
- assisting the Rooms Division Manager in execution of the management of front office staff;
- monitoring Front Office personnel to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition;
- monitoring Front Office personnel to ensure Le Club AccorHotels, known repeat guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition;
- controlling the availability of rooms, rooms types, accuracy of room count and rate categories;
- maximizing occupancy, revenue and average rate while maintaining high service standards;
- liaising with Housekeeping and Engineering departments to ensure room image is maintained and the “Room Ready on Arrival” policy is adhered to;
- turning away guests if occupancies deem it necessary ensuring no good-will is lost;
- liaising closely with other departments to ensure special guest needs, amenities and other requests are met;
- liaising closely with Finance department to ensure that credit procedures are properly carried out;
- maintaining inter-departmental relationships to ensure seamless customer service;
- inspecting frequently for cleanliness and orderliness, the public areas, reception, offices and, on a random basis, VIP rooms prior to arrival;
- assisting in the preparation of efficient work schedules for front office staff, arranging holidays and vacation, taking into consideration project occupancy and forecasts and any large group movements;
- maintaining appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of departmental employees.
Our Front Office Manager obtains the following qualifications:
- communication skills which are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company;
- has strong leadership, problem-solving, training and organizational skills;
- is energetic, initiative and reliable, focused on the details;
- is able to work under pressure in multitasking environment and meet the deadlines with a minimum supervision;
- has 2-year experience in front office on the positions of Front Office Manager, Deputy Front Office Manager/guest services or related discipline including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- is fully proficient in English and in the use of Microsoft Office and PMS OPERA.
