Position Overview
This position will plan, coordinate, and execute Metabolic disorders Therapeutic Area (TA). The individual will work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, and cross functional areas in the country to implement marketing projects, manage resources/budgets, and track outcomes. Requires strong scientific / clinical / product / business acumen with a demonstrated ability to discuss and relate complex concepts with medical experts. Proven ability to coordinate and implement multiple projects simultaneously is required. Demonstrated effective KOL communications and support are a must for achieving success in the role
- Be an active member of the Global Brand Team.
- Be in charge of tactical implementation of EMEAC initiatives in Russia, with a focus on the market penetration of the MD products
- Drive and coordinate the development of marketing tools and activities.
- Manage branding and medical education agencies.
- Be a key contact person for the International Product and Marketing Managers.
- Ensure consistent implementation of the local plan in line with the global brand strategy.
- Lead the development of product positioning and segmentation strategy that will contribute locally to the long-term growth of the company (ie lifecycle management, business development etc)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas and internal strategic partners (i.e. Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Clinical, Legal etc )
- Contribute to the development of the 3-year strategic local brand plan and annual tactical plans
- Actively participate in best practice sharing process and bring local market insights into the team
- Participate in developing ongoing sales training for field force.
- Create and foster a strong team spirit and takes on the role of ‘product champion’.
- Cultivate and develop Key Opinion Leaders, product advocates and speakers.
- Prepare, implement and monitor local marketing budget in line with the regional one
Qualifications: - Highly customer focused: from large accounts to physicians, patients
- Expert knowledge of local political environment and access issues
- 1-3 years marketing experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- Prior sales or sales management experience preferred
- Strong scientific orientation and background
- Launch experience and rare disease experience preferred
- Fluent in local language and English, both written and spoken
- Highly learning agile
