Head of Product Marketing and Communication
Position objective
Develop and implement a consistent and integrated marketing strategy to meet established brand image, financial and market share targets.
Job description
1/ Consumer conquest
Create marketing actions and contribute to actions of peer Brand Marketing departments (Trade Marketing, e-Commerce) to recruit new Clients into the Yves Rocher brand.
2/ Product Management
- Define Market Assortment. Manage Product Lifecycle. Adapt product information for packaging and communication in line with market priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to improve product portfolio performance.
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for existing and new products, generate new product ideas and promote them to the Central team, identify product features and claims needed to meet Russia consumer needs.
- Set Pricing Policy, including standard prices and maximum discount levels in line with local Brand positioning and market context.
- Prepare sales forecasts; monitor sales volume, revenue, and cost against forecasts, be accountable for forecast accuracy.
- Analyze syndicated market research and initiate local ad hoc studies to drive the portfolio performance.
3/ Brand & Product Communication
- Develop Integrated Commercial Plans in cooperation with relevant departments. Adapt plans to improve sales performance.
- Build deep understanding of the Russian consumer to adapt Brand communication to the Russian market.
- Drive Touchpoint 0 – communication with Yves Rocher personnel to increase their engagement with the Brand and the Company.
- Organize media planning (TV, Press, Digital, etc.), PR (journalists, bloggers, etc.), social media activation, sampling activities.
- Allocate resources and schedule marketing activities in line with the overall marketing strategy.
- Be accountable for campaign execution and results.
- Be accountable for Communication budget planning and controlling.
- Analyze syndicated market research and initiate local ad hoc studies to drive Brand image.
4/ Manage the internal Art Agency.
5/ Drive social responsibility and environment protection projects
Terre des Femmes, Tree Planting, Botanical Garden.
6/ Manage the team of at least 15 reports.
Set their performance and development targets, coach them to success.
Be accountable for their level of engagement with the Brand and the Company.
Required skills
- Proven product management & communication experience, preferably in a Beauty / Personal Care market.
- Management at least 5-10 direct reports.
- Proven record of effectiveness of product and communication actions that were initiated personally.
- Experience in Retail is mandatory.
- Experience in the upper Mass segment is an advantage.
- Experience in a French company / with French brands is an advantage.
- High affinity with social responsibility and environment protection.
- Experience of working with global teams is an advantage.
- Self-starter who can effectively work in a fast paced environment.
- Results oriented with strong process and execution skills.
- Highly energetic, confident and passionate style of communication.
- Stress tolerance and positive attitude.
- Capability to work effectively in close cooperation with other team members and departments.
- Ability to influence peers and trigger positive changes.
- Capability to generate very quick adjustments to already launched plans / campaigns to improve their performance.
- High level of communication skills – both written and verbal.
