Main Purpose of the Role
Ensure that Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) has meaningful relationships with choosers and users within strategic segments, with a focus on digital touchpoints. Leverages market segment full potential to identify the best segment opportunities for the Cluster by developing a clear understanding on where we will play and design seamless customer experiences for the assigned segment. Creates and executes account-based growth plans to deliver market share growth objectives for all KCP Brands. Partners with sales, commercialization & demand generation teams to develop targeted, insights driven customer marketing programs, including demand generation (KA targeted campaign & lead generation) strategy. Ensures the cluster needs are integrated into the EMEA portfolio optimization & innovation plan to deliver P&L targets and sustainable market share growth in their market. Develops targeted digital marketing communications and programming, be results & ROI focused and have a “test and learn” mentality.
Role Accountabilities
Strategy Development
- Lead the Cluster Market Segment Foundations framework to define the market segment and develops winning value propositions
- Develops learning plan for assigned market segment & works with EMEA Market Research team to prioritize research projects to gather required insights
- Defines Cluster market segment strategy for 1 to 3 years Strategic Business Plans & Annual Business Plans
- Partners with Commercialization & Regional Category to build required innovation / renovation cadence to deliver on market segment strategy and support in-market launches with segment led-claims; Also provides those teams with market segment insights to ensure innovation / renovation projects fulfill local market needs
- Partners with Commercialization to develop the optimal portfolio mix for the market segment and align Reasons To Believe (RTB’s) for product solutions with Commercial Programs
Digital-led Commercial Programs
- Collaborates with Demand Generation team to build account-based marketing Program Idea for the assigned market segment
- In conjunction with local agency partners, designs & executes omnichannel digital led Commercial Programs for the assigned market segment, including creative, production, content, media, customer interface/engagement programs & lead management process
- Executes agile account based targeted campaigns measurement including media tracking (online & offline), optimization & multi-variant testing, social listening, funnel metrics for assigned commercial programs
Sales Execution
- Works with Sales organization to develop the business model & customer experience plan for the assigned market segment
- Designs & executes full potential, account-based marketing programs by working with Sales teams to identify key account targets & develop joint growth plans for the assigned market segment
- Partner with the Sales Development Representative to ensure efficient leads conversion and improvement of sales closure rates
Standard Work
- Provides marketing support to the Sales Organization including end-user presentations, literature management
- Monitors performance of the market segment (share, sales, profit) and marketing programs (ROI) and adjusts accordingly
- Actively visits customers to capture insights and check and adjust marketing programs
- Ensures all marketing content is uploaded & maintained in the Digital Asset Management System
- Manages assigned marketing budget within CFI’s
- Acts as a member of the Market Segment EMEA Community of Practice to share & learn market segment best practices
Education & Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor Degree, in business-related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in marketing / sales roles with a demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership behavior
- P&L management
- Resolving complex problems and translating to business opportunities
- Managing & successfully influencing complex stakeholder relationships
Preferred:
- Masters / MBA with concentration in Marketing
- Experience in a B2B environment
- Experience working in assigned market segment (Industrial/Manufacturing)
- Able to read, write & speak French fluently (France is a lead market)
Commercial / Functional Skills
- Strong business & organizational acumen – understanding of market dynamics, P&L management & commercial mindset etc.
- Customer centric & digital mindset first to fulfil the customer journey needs
- Market research & marketing agency management
- Strong understanding of brand foundational tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Curiosity on external trends & marketing advancement
- Able to read, write & speak English fluently
