In connection with the expansion, the new game studio is looking for a specialist for the position of an English editor to work on a mobile project in the genre of interactive stories. Remote work, full time.
More about the project:
Our game is a collection of visual novels for mobile devices.
These are stories in which the player, playing a certain character, is constantly faced with a choice that can change the plot in a certain direction. The game follows the same episodic structure as the series, but it also involves the player much more, as it creates the illusion of choice and influence on the game world.
We are developing a project with a Western audience in mind, and English-speaking authors work for us. To work with these authors, we are looking for a literary editor who will help us maintain a good conversational style, check the literacy of the text and make the text as close to the realities of the United States as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Proofreading of finished texts in English.
- Proofreading, literary editing, fact-checking.
- Elaboration of elections and monetized elections.
- Polishing and finalizing stories after release.
Requirements:
- Understanding dramaturgy and screenwriting
- Perfect command of the English language
- Perfect understanding of the specifics of the English spoken language
- Knowledge of office software.
- Good understanding of the life of people in the west (USA, England, Western Europe)
- Desire to develop.
