Key responsibilities:
The main role of the Business Operations Lead is to develop and implement a strategy to improve the efficiency of the Company's marketing and field force departments by collecting, analyzing information related to their performance, identifying areas for improvement and potential risks, developing plans to improve the performance of the Company's divisions and putting them into action through the interaction of the Business Operations department with other divisions of the Company.
- Manage the functions of the Business Operations department: the marketing research function, the SFE and market analysis group, the Digital Marketing group, the Learning & Development function, by formulating goals and objectives, tracking their execution, analyzing the work and coordinating the activities of direct subordinates and functions in general.
- Develop a strategy to improve operational efficiency in cooperation with marketing, field force, commercial operations departments and with the line manager, taking into account in-depth knowledge of the Company's business strategy, the resources available in the Company, existing and projected trends in the development of the pharmaceutical market.
- Develop a plan for the implementation of a strategy to improve operational efficiency by using the available resources of the department, determining the focus areas of the department and projects aimed at improving the results of the work of marketing and field force, focusing on the systems, tools and approaches available in the Company and on the market to improve operational efficiency.
- Know and learn about the means and methods of improving operational efficiency available on the Russian market, as well as in other countries, systems, models and approaches to collecting and analyzing information about the market and about the activities of marketing and field forces. Based on business needs, as well as the resources available in the Company, make decisions on the use of certain tools, methods, systems and approaches, based on recommendations and expert assessment of employees of the department, other divisions of the Company, as well as external experts.
- Develop the Company's analytical systems, optimize existing and search for new sources of data on the Company's performance, improve the quality of analytics and reliability of data. Ensure the functioning and development of the Company's internal reporting systems, constantly improve the efficiency of systems and user experience.
- Manage the process of collecting, analyzing and evaluating information about the results of the Company's activities, about the activities of competitors (according to available public information), form conclusions based on the studied data and effectively convey conclusions to the Company's management and business units.
- Hold regular meetings with the Company's management and business units to discuss analytics and reporting, current indicators, to advise on the main functional processes, analytical systems and platforms, to propose action plans to improve business processes in the field of operational efficiency.
- Participate in the preparation of long-term and short-term sales forecasts and estimates for each product; support the implementation and performance tracking of the approved plans.
- Develop and lead the governance of performance management programs.
- Together with the Company's management, determine strategic priorities in the development of digital tools, initiatives and communication channels in accordance with the Company's strategy and the Company's portfolio strategies.
- To develop the Company's digital tools and technologies in the field of digital marketing, using internal and external expertise and resources. Implement the tools offered by the headquarters in the field of digital marketing, manage the project teams, interact with regional and global teams for local implementation of new tools. To study new technologies available on the market, evaluate their scope in accordance with the Company's business objectives, initiate implementation projects, request resources and manage them.
- Together with the Company's management and the HR function, develop and ensure the implementation of the Company's personnel learning & development strategy in accordance with business priorities and the need for key competencies. Develop tools and systems to support the skills and competencies development for the Company's employees, ensure the creation and implementation of training programs.
- Involve other divisions of the Company in the development of a strategy to improve operational efficiency and a plan for its implementation. Effectively interact with colleagues from other departments to achieve the tasks set.
- Form project groups for the implementation of the operational efficiency improvement plan within certain areas of this plan. Manage project teams, ensure control over the implementation of assigned tasks and compliance of the results of the work of project teams with the goals defined within the framework of a particular project.
- Drive processes simplification and automation initiatives. Advocate for enhanced process and product management, support organizational capabilities development in processes management improvement.
- Manage the team: develop, motivate, evaluate the work of employees; set priorities in work; bring and retain core competencies, drive team development, ensure adherence to the Company values and ethical principles.
- As a leadership team member, participate in the Company strategy development, operations management, various initiatives and projects to grow organizational effectiveness and employees’ engagement.
Requirements:
- Higher education in management, economics, marketing, analytics and statistics or finance;
- Work experience in the field of business operations, sales force effectiveness management, and/or marketing, and/or field force management for at least 5 years. Management experience, team building for at least 3 years;
- English: Advanced;
- Understanding of pharmaceutical business, how it functions, the roles and responsibilities of different functions in pharmaceutical company, their principles of interactions; understanding of pharmaceutical market trends;
- Project management skills, the ability to organize, prioritize and manage numerous and diverse projects;
- Knowledge of processes modelling and management principles, agile, khan-ban and other project management frameworks;
- Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, BI platforms design and management, data management and its application for business decisions;
- Understanding digital marketing principles, tools and capabilities;
- Strong people management skills;
- Strong presentation and effective communication skills;
- Strategic thinking, strategic and tactical planning skills;
- Skills of cross-functional interaction and organization of work of various divisions / employees of the Company's divisions around one task.
