A world leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquid is looking for Sales Director who will be responsible for sales strategy for Industrial Merchant and Electronics business units.
Main scope:
Customer Satisfaction:
- Tracks customer satisfaction at country level and performs actions on customer service & back office to improve satisfaction
- Facilitates and monitors deployment of sales excellence practices and related initiatives
Sales Policy & Governance:
- Is accountable of the overall commercial policy and guarantees consistencies between Market units
- Monitors the annual sales forecast and defines objectives in coordination with the Regional Market Units' Sales Directors.
- Sets up and approves proposals on product pricing policy
- Reviews and coordinates pricing policies
- Contributes to adapt Offers pricing policy during offer development /deployment, supports the deployment of new offers.mm
- Ensures compliance with antitrust and local regulations, internal policies and rules related to sales force
- Reviews and defends CAPEX requests necessary for commercial opportunities. When the envelop is validated, manages priorities and allocation.
- Enforces payment terms policy: ensures the implementation of the contract review procedures (standard payment delay and contract, financial assessments). Validates exceptions to the policy.
- Ensures effective support of the sales force and administration to cash-collection and DSO reduction
Sales Management:
- Manages and sets the objectives of the sales (through the MU Sales Directors), shared commercial services (customer service, back office) and local product management
Competitive intelligence:
- Informs Markets Unit Directors and supports Strategy and Commercial Director to ensure competitive and market intelligence (supported by competitive intelligence responsible)
CRM:
- Is the business owner of the CRM
- With the support of the Sales Excellence Manager, ensures the appropriate use of the CRM tools to guarantee accuracy of market data.
Background & Experience:

Significant experience in Sales & Marketing

Experience in related industry sales environment (long term sales, direct customers sales)
