Our Client is the official rights holder of a largest sports EVENT in Russia-2018 is looking to fill the position of IT Support Engineer.
Job description / tasks:
- Call logging & handling of support tickets - escalation, prioritisation etc.
- Investigating, troubleshooting & resolving software/hardware issues.
- Setup & maintain desktops, laptops & mobile devices
- Software installation & upgrades
- Maintenance of printers & scanners
- Active Directory & Office 365 administration
- Network patching & troubleshooting
- Documentation of IT processes & procedures
- Provide remote support for Client's offices
Person specification:
- Fully conversant in English, verbally and written.
- Excellent support knowledge of Windows 7,10 and Microsoft Office 2010,2016.
- Familiarity and support skills with IOS, Android and Windows mobile devices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with users across all levels of ability and seniority, by phone, email and face to face.
- Able to work as a team and on their own.
- Ability to recognise users’ key requirements and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Approachable.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Customer Service driven.
Ad-hoc tasks:
- Will be required to assist with ad-hoc tasks if and when required.
- The nature of this event is such that it may be necessary to amend or add to your responsibilities as we get closer to 2018 and you will be required to perform any task that is allocated to you by senior management, specific to the projects at hand.
General:
Working hours are 10h00-19h00 Monday-Friday. Due to the nature of the business you will be required to work after hours and at weekends as required.
The successful candidate will be working as a remote individual, but will be an extended resource of the UK IT team, providing 1st line and 2nd line support. The chosen person will also need to be extremely flexible and could at times be asked to perform additional duties outside of his or her normal scope.
