Responsibilities:
- Leads Logistics strategy development and execution (for warehousing, transportation and customs clearance) and implementation in close collaboration with Procurement, Customer Service and other functions in line with Business Unit main priorities and Strategic Plan.
- Evaluates and recommends strategic opportunities/initiatives to TOP management utilizing current and emerging business models, assessing short-term and long-term industry and strategic considerations.
- Develops and executes the risk management strategy for critical directions and operations (embargo, political conflicts and bans, legal constraints and etc.).
- Monitors and considers seasonality, peak season needs and external market trends to plan and support the operations’ continuity.
- Monitors constantly market inflators, economical and regulatory changes to anticipate and mitigate the impact on Logistics budget and P&L.
- Accountable for leading Local Logistics team to deliver timely and high quality operations at the optimal price (transportation, warehousing, labelling and packaging, customs clearance/import flows).
- Ensures continuity of Logistics Operations, utilizing standard processes and tools to meet required compliance and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Constantly focus on service level. Supports the Customer Service team to deliver perfect orders.
- Manages Operational Performance of service providers in order to achieve maximum logistics performance based on agreed KPI’s analysis and corrective action implementation within BU supply chain organization.
- Develops/Implements the Bonduelle and/or local Quality and Food Safety standards with all Logistic Providers and own operations
- Ensures optimal allocation of resources to achieve targets (prioritize if necessary).
- Oversights/Anticipate main activities to support the growth and future opportunities for business by making sure the team collaborates with project teams and stakeholders.
- Acts as the single point of contact for the Logistics function for key stakeholders.
- Ensures solid reports on performance in each area, actively participate in the identification of issues and the gaps, in collaboration with business
- Identify and clarify need’s for improvement within the logistic network. Implement business process excellence improvements and drive continuous improvement across activities in scope.
- Leads initiatives to develop, implement and support best practices in logistics, distribution and customer service and ensure adherence.
- Benchmarks with world class supply chain performance measures, best practices and trends both within and outside Bonduelle.
- Develops, aligns and implements standardized transportation, warehousing and customs policies/procedures, performance metrics, controls and guidelines on the business unit level.
- Providers management with focus on building strategic partnership in order to get best service for reasonable price.
- Lead, development and collaboration with Logistic service providers (warehousing, transportation, co-packing, customs) in order deliver of excellence quality services, ensuring optimization of cash flow and improvement working capital.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationship with suppliers to execute contracts, quality management and adherence to all BONDUELLE Group policies and requirements.
- Benchmark competitiveness of BONDUELLE market rates via independent third-party vendors.
- Work on Supplier development programs with Financial and Quality functions to reach exclusive partner relationship and terms (quality audits, financial programs, new product developments and etc.)
- Productivity initiatives development and implementation
- Supports Global & Local teams and functions in Budgeting and Integrated Business Planning: price guidance and indexes for Logistic Operations.
- Review, reconcile price variance and cause of change in IBP, LE and various financial scenario calculations.
- Provides regular update on Logistic Operations statuses, constraints and risks during the Supply Planning Review process as part of IBP. Immediately highlights all changes in the supply timing, risks and opportunities to all participants of IBP and other concerned parties.
- Develops and implement mid- and long- term productivity pipeline aligned with key BONDUELLE business priorities/objectives.
- Is and active member of the TMO/COVI cross functional process to find, develop and implement productivity/added value opportunities in Logistics and follow up all saving.
- Lead the Local Logistics Operations Team members in accordance with the Bonduelle management principles to support the organisation’s overall leadership focus on performance and talent management, values, management and self-management practices.
- Support people’s growth and development of their roles to become experts within their area and business process owners.
Skills:

Master Degree: preferably in science or logistics/supply chain, business/finance or relevant combination of formal qualifications and additional specialised study.

Proven track record of qualification in Logistics/Supply chain in understanding of local specifics and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills in numbers and processes
- Proven managerial skills (leading professional teams)
- Strong systems skills: ERP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point...), Logistic applications (TMS, WMS, etc.)
- Experience in projects for network analysis and network optimization in order to route-to-market requirements and development
- Experience in a Warehousing & Distribution based environment developing and implementing Best Practices of route-to-market processes
- Business acumen/ Experience or detailed knowledge of other Supply Chain roles within a dynamic commercial environment
- Track record of optimising process / communication efficiencies and developing performance benchmarking to monitor improvements.
- Fluent spoken / written English
