Responsibilities:
- Onsite installation and configuration of MGI’s Bioinformatic solution hardware, including Data analysis instrument’s Servers, and networking infrastructures to support the needs of customers;
- Provide onsite, phone, and email pre- and after-sale technical support to customers, sales and other departments;
- Assist in the development and improvement of products by providing feedback and needs from customers.
Requirements: - Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT field;
- Familiar with the servers, centralized & distributed storage, and cloud computing products commonly used in the market;
- Have good knowledge in Centos and its package manager (yum), database, container, and big data
- Experience in network configuration, RAID configuration, and switch configuration;
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills;
- Knowledge of English and Russian level - Upper-intermidate
- Willing to travel to east EU and Russia up to 40% travel;
Experience as a plus:
- Experience with optical fiber networks;
- Experience in IT network planning and implementation;
- Understanding of BIT product workflows;
- Experience with using docker and Anaconda.
