Junior Business Development Manager is responsible for executing and delivering business targets by seeding and managing Unilever international portfolio across selected markets all over the world through network of Distribution partners.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Development
- Explore the opportunity of Russian brands to be sold in other countries
- Assessment of the potential markets, search and selection of partners
- Overall project management (business cases, forecast, sales plans and execution, management of project team)
Distributor Management
- Deliver sales target for all product by executing the Distributor Annual business plans
- Manage customer P&L – setting targets, promotional spends, establish the best route-to-market to maximize cost efficiencies.
- Working with cross functional teams i.e. Marketing, Supply chain, Finance to drive business and achieve set targets.
Customer Marketing Support to Distributor Team
- Leading Customer and Channel strategy for brand launches
- Aligning Channel and Customer investment plan with distributor team
- Managing TTS investment
- Closely work with distributor and broker team for on time/in full execution of key innovations and promotional activities to drive sales.
- Understanding of market dynamics across all the channels to develop the right portfolio, pricing and distribution requirement for each channel.
- Monitor in market pricing, promotional activities of customers
Other Responsibilities
- Drive Operational support to Business Development activities like Monthly Order tracking, Forecast versus Actuals analysis
- Support Business Development Manager in identifying new Business Development Opportunities by analyzing historical data, comparing competitor information and then creating plans for potential opportunities
- Ensure compliance with Unilever’s COBP, corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintain highest quality standards, ensure safe working practices and care for environment.

- FMCG Customer Business management and account management experience as basic requirement
- Understanding of Finance P&L of Brands and Customers.
- Experience of brands launches
- Managed Trade Promotion across retail channels

• Education: University degree, business management or marketing qualification
• Must be able to speak proficient business English.
• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, a global attitude and mindset to understand and deal with other cultures
• Self-starter, proactive, driven and can work with minor supervision
• Willing to travel up.
